If you ever do this format again, with just the the unwrapped book turned that way and using the same numbers in the jar, instead of taking the book out of the pile, just turn it so the spine is seen (and maybe tuck the number slip between the pages so that you won't forget it) and go to the next one until your done with all the picks. Then talk about it at the end so that you won't have to change the rules after realizing the ordeal you have in this video. This is just a suggestion and may inspire you to do something else.
@@opal555to me it didn’t feel there at all…😅i personally couldn’t feel the chemistry and it didn’t feel like a necessary part of the book 😅 BUT i read it while i was in a slump AND most people love it and rave about the romance, so still give it a try if you’re thinking about it because you might enjoy it, you never know!
I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Six of Crows! I loved it and the Shadow and Bone series. There’s only two books in the Grishaverse that I still need to read as well as Language of Thorns. Leigh Bardugo did a great job creating this world. Once I finish all the books I plan on watching the show on Netflix since all the Grishaverse books were mashed up into one show.
Lol yes! If ravenhairedreader says I need to read it, it goes on my tbr. I'm glad I'm not the only one 😂 I definitely can't read as many books as you can in a month. I'm good if I get maybe two or three books read in a month. I'm currently working on Iron Flame, and then I'm either going to start the Throne of Glass series or Shadow and Bone. I've really been wanting to read Shadow and Bone soon after I saw that you liked them. I have also heard people say that you just have to "get through" Shadow and Bone. But I loved the show and the world they're in just seems really cool to me. So I'm definitely going to have a fantasy-heavy reading month.
YESSS FOR FANTASY READING!! Don’t worry, before I started this channel I would average about the same per month, now I just do a bunch of reading challenges for videos hahahha
Eileen was a 1 for me. It shouldn't even exist lol. It's going to be a movie though so i don't get it. It's gross, weird, it was a complete thumbs down for everybody in our book club. Don't do it. Don't say you weren't warned. Lol
my january tbr: -the folk of the air series (reread) -the picture of dorian gray -once upon a broken heart series (also reread) here’s to manifesting a good reading month to start the year off 💗
I'm SUPER excited for you to read six of crows!! Amazing I will be rereading the original hunger games trilogy! I have exams so I thought a reread might make it easier for me to read when the brain is fried 😅
i am so happy another vid of yours just came out!! i just recently been binge-watching your 2023 Bookmas playlist. btw the vids are so incredible!! 🥰🥰 thank you for being my inspiration to try reading more ❤
