God an untitled fan It was all about Enema for a while for everyone besides the trio songs from that album (Whats my age again, All the Small Things & Adam's Song.) Even TOYPAJ was great, all songs from that album were good. The self titled record was a new style, and attracted a fanbase a little different from what is now the basis for +44 and AvA. People who want Blink-182 back miss everything from 1992 to 2001. all of the new albums from mark and tom reflect the ideas from self titled.
no man never settle.. lets face it neither band is as good as blink..it took them over a decade to start writing good music...do you really think that any of the three have more than a decade left?..especially with how fast trends go by...think about it.
dude that's not a lot considering how many songs there are and he sings like half of easy target he's sang alot in previous albums compared to this one
none of it is really AVA like listen to the snare solo at the end of im lost without you, and the kinda off beat bass beat, travis is nothin like Atom Willard, he makes the difference, the guitar is different style too, AND he sings differently, why does there have to be similarites between Blink 182 and AVA why even compare. Two different bands.
I guess..."all systems go", definitely, but it seems like the rest of the BCR stuff was just an extension of "take off your pants and jacket". that's just my opinion.
