I pre-cringed at the potential comments of people not knowing the obvious Ramones influence in this video. I'm 32 and was raised on classic rock. I then discovered Punk in high school and never looked back. I was prepared to feel very old reading the comments and am happy other people here know the awesomeness of the Ramones

These kids now have no idea how special this is that Blink is back to this. Even when they reunited the first time for Neighborhoods (which is also an amazing album) they didn't have that vibe like they had towards the beginning. They have the amazing song writing and vibe again. You are extremely lucky to see this kids.
I think they realized their lives are much too important to be arguing about stupid stuff when airplane crashes or cancer can end it all in a second. Love blink 182
as a teenager, Blink being back is one of the coolest things thats happened lately. Sure I wasnt around when they debuted but they have been a big part of my childhood (them along with Linkin Park) so them finally being back with Tom is really special for me

Great catchy song! Tom sings the verses, Mark sings the pre-choruses, both Mark and Tom sing the choruses together, and Mark sings the bridge before the last chorus. I like the distinction between the two voices, so different but complementary!

@@trevgreg2That isn't quite the progression. The most famous version of that 4-chord progression (used by nearly every band, including Blink) is C, G, Am, F or G, D, Em, C 40 years of guitar and I never get enough of this famous progression.

I'm so overjoyed not just with Tom's return, but the fact that he has intentionally softened his "AVA" voice delivery style and included more old school blink style gritty/less polished delivery. It makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD.
He's been doing these vocals in live performances for a while in AvA, nice to hear him finally put it on some studio shit too. Reminds me of self titled era a bit
Tom never really left his voice though even though he might’ve tried to escape how it sounded in his early days. He’s always usually pitchy but I do know what you mean of the “gritty” more reckless abandon Tom
Reading the comments makes us realise at what point this band is an open stargate to our youths and at what point they created a universal link between us all over the world ! Love them forever ❤

I love that Tom has his blink voice back. It’s not forced and you can tell they were together and enjoyed recording. I’m sad they didn’t have much banter when I saw them in ATL. This album shows real promise to be what blink was supposed to be. I even enjoy how their logo went back to what it was supposed to be before all the life happened. A real lesson to all of us. Tomorrow isn’t always gonna happen; I gotta say I love you while we’re here.

They really captured how awkward the Ramones could be during some interviews. That's how you knew the Ramones were for real, they had just as much social awkwardness as the rest of us, no putting on an act of bravado or brashness. Wonderful job recreating some of the other classic moments as well.
The beginning around the table was definitely the "I wanna be sedated " music video, IDK what other Ramones references are in this video, but it's a fun vid
It’s like a long-lost relationship that you left as a teenager but you reunite as adults and that spark is still there. My heart hasn’t been this happy in such a long time. I’ve spent 25 years of my life with blink, I could go another 25 more if it always sounds like this album ❤ (Also the kid with the balls to flip Tom the double bird at the end makes me piss every time I see it 😂)
I cant stop playing the second chorus, the imagery of travis beating the HELL outta the drums, to the nurse grabbing her chest, to the glimpse of that girl rocking out in the crowd. This is an EXTREMELY well done video
It's so insane how every single so far just feels like instant blink classics. More Than You Know and Dance With Me in particular are amazing.

Welcome home Tom. You add so much to blink. The guitar riffs, vocals, lyrics, and creativity has just not been the same without Tom. Been awhile since I last enjoyed a Blink 182 song!
Matt Shiba is a way better musician than Tom. Blinks best album was dude ranch and that was more than 20 years ago. Lame song, and are they supposed to be the Ramones?

But as for the last statement they said it themselves that the video is a tribute to The Ramones. I get it it's not everyone's taste but this song takes you back to the days of Take off your Pants and Jacket and Enema of the State. It's a very blink-182 song to be fair. Pop punk at its finest!

Yea I was thinking that. Like honestly, I fell off with them after EOTS, was not into it. This album is like a throwback to many of those sounds. First blink album I've dug in over 2 decades.
You can tell this song was written to be played and enjoyed live. Such a chantable chorus, good vibes, upbeat. This will be a new live show staple for sure.

typical and classic Blink 182 humor, the costumes and photography also very consistent with its classics hit videos , Travis' insane drums , low Mark's catchy choruses, the high and unique tom tones but now so much better. Everything brought back memories and now creates new ones! 🖤

They definitely send themselves up, also they are doing some funny nods to the Ramones. Notice Travis shaking his foot - there is an old interview of the Ramones where Markey Ramone is shaking his foot to the dismay of Jonhny Ramone. I think the interview part of this video took inspiration from that old Ramones interview as comic relief.
This is why I love them. And on a deeper note, it taught teen me to just be yourself. Give up being 'cool'- being yourself is the most punk thing you can do

Yes from the outfits kind of basically outing that from the thumbnail it was awesome. Wonder what Blink 182 meeting Joey Ramone would have been like. I heard a story about Bill Stevenson meeting Joey, and Bill is a legend on his own and he said how Joey asked if he was going to play a more obscure song of his. So the legend Joey was geeking out about Bill's music.
I love how punk this is, and the echo of their early frat-boy humour. Blink have always been a fun band, with some notable exceptions, but this is as good as anything they’ve done. Keep it up, guys!
Blink 182 has always been the source of light in a dim lit room. The nostalgia brought me to tears. Now 36, dealing with tinnitus and arthritis, there's millions of us, immediately transported to simpler times. Life is difficult, but together it's better. Thank you 🤘🤘🤘

Its not just the nostalgia Kick but this is maybe One of their best songs tbh. The energy is there, the chorus is catchy af, the bass signature is obvious, the punk drums are spot On and tom performed above expected. 4,5/5 imo
This album seems to have just a little bit of everything from the more mature sound on the neighborhood album to the sophomoric tones of their earlier 2000s songs. It’s amazing to me how versatile this band is. I wouldn’t think the band I fell in love with in 1997 would still be so impactful on my life and maybe just maybe making the best music so far.
1993. Poway High. Tom walked into class with an arm full of demo cassette tapes. I bought one for $5. Still have it. I listened to this album last night and pondered how far they’ve come
