feels like i went back to 1998, Travis is playing a multicolored kit, Tom using a fender again and just wearing a t-shirt and backwards cap, feels good man(mark really hasnt changed anything about how he is on stage imo lol)
@@joaoartur01 Are you sure about that??(insert John Cena meme here) Pay close attention to the headstock through out their show, you can make our the iconic capital "F" of the fender logo. Not to mention a simple google search will inform you that he is in fact using "his new reunion-era custom Fender Starcaster electric guitars". Future reference, maybe do even the slightest bit of research before you decide to make yourself look stupid.
I absolutely love Tom's little "yeah" towards the end after the second "are we alone, do you feel it?" I've played over and over on repeat. Best "yeah" I've ever heard in my entire life. Gets me so amped. I felt 15 years younger during this livestream.
I watched a few songs they performed at this festival on RU-vid and i really like how Tom tries to sing as close as he can to the way the song sounds like on record instead of singing like he wants it to sound like like he use to. No one’s gonna get it exactly the way they do in the studio but I like him singing way better then he use to
He’s not auto tuned, if you follow him through AVA he made a post, he had surgery around his sinuses, he had an issue that fucked with his ability to hear tone and shit, fucked up his ability to sing for many many years. Check out any live concert of AVA from their past tour and he sounds fantastic.
Tom is not using auto tune. Please. He freaking did amazing. They all are awesome. Except just scared about Travis marrying a Kardashian. I hope they don't fall for the Kardashian curse.
@@amandamarie4495 he used auto tune, for sure. First date was very obvious. I’m not hating, don’t care if it’s auto tune or not, just glad they’re back. But yeah, he used auto tune 100%
I met Mark in 2010 at a TOOL concert in L.A. I wasn't a fan of his band at the time. I remember the one question I did ask him: You think you guys will ever play Coachella? He said you know, that would be kinda cool, maybe. Better late than never Mark. I actually became a fan during those 13 years. True story
Tom still needs just a little more work but god damn that’s the best he sounded in over decade… this is amazing first night on the tour I think he’s finally comming into his older new voice for singing blink songs instead of ava…I wish he sounded like his old self a bit more tho, you can hear that tone still come out sometimes
@@ihateutube1143 I would say tom and Travis.. mark is definitely the most replaceable one, no offense to him ha. but Tom sings most of the better songs and to hear him not sing them no matter how good he does just isn’t the same. Also Tom guitar playing and the creativity is very original and unique and is what gives blink it’s sound on top of how well compliments it on the drums. It’s those two chemistry that make the band. Even tho I loved blink before Travis at that time they were a lot more punk rock tho and tom went extra hard with the guitar riffs and catchy solos. I don’t think blinks new songs toms guitar playing alone with a say an average drummer or any drummer that’s not Travis would work that well.
I see Tom read my comment on twitter to try and stay on key live! Haha. He's putting the effort in! Hopefully it isn't just for Coachella b/c of how big of an event it is.
I feel like he's too scared to go all out and attempts high notes from the heart way too rarely. I don't blame him tbh cus he doesn't have the best singing "ability" (especially now, obviously haha) but I'm always like, come on, man! Let it out! Even if his voice ends up cracking halfway through the note, that "good" half would sound amazing and heartfelt af. Just like at 1:15! Buuut I'm just grateful and happy that he's at least coherent now lmaooo I love him sm OH AND HIS GUITAR AD LIBS ARE A GODSEND NOW WTFFF. His heart is truly in it, mannn!
