Travis conceptual skill never ceases to amaze me. I'd love a dvd, or something similar, where he shows his process of making drum parts to songs. I just love the way he reacts and responds to music.
Low-key the guy in the interview was super cool. Asked actually super cool questions and was able to laugh and seem comfortable with their banter. Great interview :)
sounds like a flanger or some kinda chorus with lotsof feedback But maybe its just the distortion pushing the chorus or flanger that is already on as that would make it more dramatic.
Check out their performance of I Miss You at Pepsi Smash. It is THE best performance of this song and may be the best they have EVER done live. If you havent seen it and you love Blink-182, look it up. Its amazingly awsome.
Rove is awesome, I watch it every sunday, Travis should've of used the brush, him hitting the rim of the snare sounds to slow, but this definetly one of their better performances, for somereason they always speed up there songs when they sing live.
Love it how they aren't up themselves... I don't watch Rove religiously but I know some high profile American stars can get a bit up themselves on the show (none surpassing Harrison Ford when Firewall came out). But they all seemed genuine and comfortable and not bignoting themselves and I think that's nice. Can't say this is their best live, in fact some of their live work can be cringeworthy at times, but "I Miss You" live at the Pepsi Centre is easily their best.
@newowned No it wouldn't because then you would take the capo off and your guitar would be a step down instead of having to set it up and tune it it doesn't matter how talented you are im going to assume you dont know much about music theory, putting a capo on bass is exactly the same as putting one on guitar it just brings the notes up two semitones like i said, talent has nothing to do with it
@georgo342 Tuning the bass down for one song only to put a capo on it to bring it back to normal tuning would be completely redundant. Also he's playing a bass, not a guitar. There's not many situations you'd use a capo for bass, and Mark isn't exactly the world's greatest bass player so you wouldn't think he'd need to do it.
i dont think i think when travis plays liver being loud makes it sound better but i think they do i miss oyu awesome live did u ever watch the video for i miss you live at the pepsi smash if not u have to watch it its pretty epic
@geetarplayer4ever im not saying that what they do isnt difficult , ive just heard them sound better , and i dont play music so the syncapated beats just sound messy to me. they are still great tho
that wud b sick kid1:dude my dad has the sickest job. my dad works on a fireengine. kid2:no my dad is better. my dad played drums for blink-182. kid1:dude i want your dad. kid2:what?
@DEchrisProductions thats because travis is scared to be on planes now..even tho they all want to come to australia..they say it's hard to travel with that phobia he has.
HAHA! don't understand me wronge!!:P I LOVE BLINK 182 OVER EVERYTHING!!!:P but had 2 laugh a bit when he said they are one of the best bands in the world Live! haha:p
@avenged7foldfan777 he wants feedback from his guitar...best way to do? stand in front of the amp so the pickups are recieving a direct signal from the amp...
my brother just bought tht guitar. he bought i for like 500. i used to be into guitar. but i turned to the dark side so to speak. im a drummer now so yea
@LAWRDO96 how does a capo make it easier to sing? They use one on Toms guitar because he plays so high on the fretboard, and one on Marks bass because thats how the song is played -.-
They are awesome! Mark's voice was spot-on, like it was on the studio version. Tom wasn't so great in this performance but Travis is a fucking beast on Drums!
@georgo342 You gave me an answer that someone with little music knowledge would give, and it also looked like you didn't read my post properly, that's why I sledged you. I understand that you Even if you were right about them playing a song off air and his bass was tuned down, it's still unnecessary to capo a bass in most situations. Blink songs are piss easy on bass and this one is a slow song so you could easily just fret the string. It's more likely mark did it because he is lazy.
remembering what u did guys(blink 182) reunnnss ur moments again guys... don't u sadly thinking ur fans like me us .. miss y'all so much.y'all musics blasss in our memories
