I agree, but I also think if Tom performed this now it would sound just as bad. He sounds nothing like he did back in the day. It’s like Tom died at some point in 2006.
Matt plays blink songs even lazier than Tom did live. Combine that with his poor singing and I really struggle to enjoy these old songs now. Shame because I love Skiba in Alkaline
Umm I think you need to refresh yourself on exactly how fucking bad Tom was. I recommend you start with Reading 2014. Dude didn't give one fuck about playing blink songs. Total garbage.

The Skiba era gets way too much hate from the blink community. Matt’s biggest sin was that he wasn’t Tom, and that’s unfortunate because there are some very good songs from this era from both California and Nine.
i think you just liked it because its just souns mature right?but imo tom singing this is much better than matt,cause its just sound raw than matt,cause matt sounds like he's struggling on the old songs.imo
