@@GAURAANGBNAIR there are numbers of buttons blinking if somehow errors occurs there is a machine which is used to check with the lights, for this you have to go to service centre

@@TanmayAgarwalJaipur I later on found that there is a button in car..when i pushed that it was showing light and then again doing the same it was turned off.

Yes, getting the battery checked is quite simple. Perhaps, there must be some other issue, which might have been the case. This should be investigated to avoid such occurrence in the future. If possible, share here that root cause for the benefit of all.

From Oct-2017, it has been quarter to four years, and for sure battery by now has worn out, irrespective of the mileage of the vehicle. Charging the battery won't help, still you may get it checked with some battery shop.

Nexa service station will not do anything special in case of changing the battery. Contact some authorised Exide battery dealer in your city, who will provide a brand new battery "EXIDE Conservo DIN70 ISS" in exchange of the old battery. I'm not sure about the current rate after exchange. I got in Rs.6,500/- in exchange of the old battery in Sep-2019.

The second service means new Ciaz. It is under warranty, talk to some other MASS specifically for this issue. Else escalate the matter to the Maruti regional office.

Definitely there is some fault, because either it should be ON or OFF based on your choice of activating or deactivating the auto-start/stop feature.

Check wiring near the battery, check fuse, find the battery age and SHVS belt condition.

This could be probably because the battery is either not getting current from the alternator for charging OR the battery is malfunctioning. In this situation, your battery may get discharged soon and the car will not start after turning it OFF once. Please, get this check by the authorised service centre.

In my knowledge, VXI is a petrol variant and Hybrid (Start-Stop Functionality) is not present in petrol variants of Maruti Suzuki.

@@user-gp4hb6gl4y there are two reasons...one is due to failure of battery sensor which is fitted at battery terminal...part cost is around 1100/-...second reason is due to week battery...there are two batteries in SHVS vehicles..one is lead acid battery which is in engine compartment for starting engine and for lighting etc... another is lithium ion battery which in passenger cabin under seat...lithium battery has very high life compared to lead acid battery ...so lead acid battery will be weak and you have to change that battery...pl note when you change sensor or battery you have to reset that fault signal in authorised service centre....hope this issue will be resolved

Check the connection near battery positive terminal, fuse in the fuse box, else get it checked by the Authorised Service Centre.

That will depend on the root cause, which the sensors will notify in the sensor reading available with vehicle authorised service stations.

Amaron does not manufacture DIN-70. So, if you have bought for CIAZ, then either the current rating would be below or above 70 amps. So, the SHVS is not accepting this battery.

If it is in warranty, please get it checked with the authorised dealer only.

Hello Mr.Aish, with these limited details, it seems that either the SHVS belt might have broken/loose/out OR some fuse may have blown. Please, get your car inspected by car manufacturer's authorised dealer workshop.

I haven't tried. But if the battery got discharged because of some temporary problem, it will be fine after external charging or long driving. Otherwise new battery will be required. I prefer only Exide battery for vehicles.

Then this issue does not seem to be of battery. It could be disconnection of wire near the bonnet lock OR sensor issue. If in warranty get it inspected by Maruti authorised service station.

Your car is under warranty, so DO NOT try to do anything yourself. I suggest getting it checked through a Maruti Authorised Service Centre where they have the device to check sensors of the car by plugging into that device.
