Blistered Earth, the ultimate tribute to Metallica, performing "Blackened" live at Abeyance Bay Marina in Rexford, Montana, opening up for Queensryche, on July 30, 2022. Video by Tim Huff
Cliff playing Blackened 😵This all feels like a weird dream where I go see Metallica at the local school picnic, and they're Metallica...but not quite Metallica...
I saw them on the justice tour December 1988 cow palace San Francisco it was killer show. I also saw Ozzy diary of a madman with Randy the first show of the tour December 29 1981 cow Palace..my first concerts. I have seen so many great shows there it seeing Randy play was the highlight.
Ok this band needs a TON more recognition. They should be playing much more than a freaking picnic!!! The guitar tones, the looks, the outfits, the energy. Its all there! Hopefully these guys are seen more.
That was the first show James played without his cast on his arm after his Skateboarding accident and Cliffs last. So for one last time they got to play as " Metallica" before it all changed.
@@andysalter7192 Yeah. I'll never forget my dad waking me up the morning after telling me about the accident :( It was such a freaking good show though!
Totally agree with the Bass Player doing Cliff,it like a weird dream playing Blackened, and the guy doing Lars with a mic 😂great song one of my fav’s the solo is awesome great job.👊🏻🤘🏻🎸
I've seen these guys live and they are absolutely the epitome of old Metallica. And they're a bunch of really really cool dudes. I'm glad that they're getting more and more exposure. And they're just sounding better and better not that they sounded bad at all when I saw them a few years ago but I guess practice makes perfect. One hell of a good job blistered Earth, keep doing your thing guys, I'll see you when you roll back into town.🤘🤘
The double bass fills on Blackened being played live would have me at a show on its own 😂 And the guitarist did a better job on the solo than Kirk has in actual decades 🫣
Wow that was absolutely amazing !!! great to see the band young again, espcially cliff ( R.I.P ) I wanna see Ride the Lightning and whatever other songs you played !!!!!!!!!
They nailed Hetfield, tight black jeans, white high-tops, the hair, the head-banging with that hair, the guitar, the voice, the face, the energy and intimidation. That’s a perfect Hetfield replica right there.
Wow they did such a good job! As a James cosplayer (yes I know I’m a girl and I do Hetfield cosplays) he’s got the head banging on point, the stance and the guitar tone is really good!
Do you play guitar? If not, direct your energies to learning that vs dress up. Guaranteed you'll find it more fulfilling and enjoyable in the long run.
@@ROOKTABULA Yes I’ve been playing for a technically a year now and before I got a guitar I made one out of cardboard 🤣 but now I’m learning how to sing and play at the same time.
This has been sitting in my recommended for like 4 days now, so tonight I finally decided to check it out. I feel like I stumbled into some strange alternate dimension. These guys have talent though, no doubt, they sounded great, but the dedication to the cosplay side of it... wow.
Was Blessed to see Metallica open for ozzy with cliff on battery tour and this is amazingly similar! Yes, Cliff did a lot of headbangin live. I hope these cats come to Chicago or Milwaukee someday.
Awesome Metallica tribute band. Almost as good as seeing them live, in their prime (80's & 90's). But, when did Jim Martin take over lead guitar for Metallica?
