@@Annihilation_0f_The_Wicked9066yes, but "knowing your metal" means being digging up for music from 40 years ago (which is not bad), while many of us discovered those same bands because someone famous like Metallica came telling us "Hey, have you ever heard this band before?"
@@Annihilation_0f_The_Wicked9066 reality is that metallica did introduce humongous number of ppl to bands like these, but u are just trying to tell us u know ur metal. and in reality , no one asked
i mean yeah to a select few which i respect but the resurgence of heavy metal was not thanks to them since it happened recently between around 2012-2020 due to different yt channels dedicated to heavy metal digging up old forgotten gems.
@@user-zm3qz2eg7i Exactly. To a lot of us who didn't have access to stuff(specially as Americans) like this back in the 80's. How tf were we supposed to know about these bands unless we sat around all day at music and guitar shops? It's not like back in those days we had youtube and the internet.
2:25 is super corny and I think the reverb does add power even if it does sound overproduced. At least it’s not as bad as it is in armageddon, the song was basically ruined.
Imagine writing a such a good song that Metallica chooses to cover it. Succulent in my opinion. (Success was autocorrected to Succulent" so i kept it after i decided it was a better fit)
