BLIZZ PLEASE FIX - PvP Trinket Sets Not Showing Hidden Stats 

The tooltip technically is correct, since the trinket only changes the effect not versatility itself, and the tooltip shows what versatility does normally. What it should have is extended info like armor does with effect vs current target.

no the tooltip is not even technically correct. it should have had an effect analogous to when you were stunned with Conflict and Strife major essence and you could actually see the defensive part of versatility change in your character stats window when you scrolled over versatility. they have very similar wordings, CnS wording was "increase defensive benefit of versatility" and the wording here is basically "offensive benefit of versatility". but for some reason you can not observe the change in offensive part of versatility for the trinkets. so no, the trinket tooltip is not technically correct

it increases versatility by 5,6% based on his current versatility, it just doesn't show which is weird af. Should pop up straight away. Could be an equip/unequip bug

mich has it dead on. Blizzard are being VERY literal with this one. There's no lines to read between. They want us to be glass cannons in pvp. They are limiting your vers defence while allowing you to use it as a base offence still. The point is we have to think about stats again.

Specifically only the damage and healing effect of vers, it does nothing for the damage reduction aspect

Ok ,but where I want to be able to see it.You just see a tooltip and thats it.They have to change this or make it visible somehow...

pretty much, it increase dmg done, but not dmg reduction. no idea why though

@@wisniamw It's because people hated how long it took to kill people in arena last expac. So they just made it increase the damage of your vers

@@lenwe4205 that makes sense, didnt play much of arenas, but what i saw from Pika and Xaryu was, that you literally had to set whole ,,scene" to kill some1, or the healer will 1 cast full his teamamte

it doesn't state ,,increase your versatility". It says about benefits, trinkets set increase only dmg amp of your versa, but defensive part stay same :)

Nope, this is way better to watch than 15-20 minute matches. Also, without PVP scaling undergeared people get punished. Just get good gear and you will survive longer.

@@semi6544 yee except no. More gear means way higher dmg than any defense. You cant be serious. He walks in and pops 2 dmg abilities and the guys dead. How is that any good? Only rogues can do it aswell. I have rank 3 pvp gear atm and i get smoked that fast to. Theres no retaliation. Its shit. And every decent pvper agrees.

@@semi6544 You had me in the first sentence but then lost me. With a bit of mythic zeros and rank threes, I can still delete say a DK through IBF and AMS. Inversely, it's tough as other class to deal with massive amounts of burst like that. Rets are also whack out; their damage is insane and their healing and enhancement's are also really crazy right now. But then again, expansion just came out so I'd keep an eye on how Blizzard goes with this

@@qwerewqe600 -- The characters aren't complete yet. When you get access to the whole covenant tree and the conduits, you get access to more PVP protections and options. Like Necrolords will eventually get access to the ability to be immune to CC if you channel your Necrolord shield. There are some incredible offensive classes right now. I do get it. Rets have counters. I'm not really sure what you can do against rogues, but they were hard whether you died fast or slow. If you were gonna die anyway, it's better that you just die quickly. I watched a ton of AWC tournaments and played PVP myself at a much lower level. The multiple offensive cooldowns versus defensive cooldowns gameplay until dampening is boring to play and watch.

These are just my opinions and preferences. I totally understand people don't want to be 100 - 0 so ridiculously fast. I sincerely think it is just a consequence of being early in the expansion. Just get your legendaries, covenant slots, and conduits. When we are complete we all will have more options against those rogues.

on beta it still showed the increased dmg % on vers, eg it said increases dmg by 22% but 8% less dmg taken

the stat gives defence. However, in bfa, stacking vers made you unkillable wile still making you hit like a truck. Now you hit like a truck, but don't get the extra defence.

You're missing the point. The expectation was to see the stat points and/or % effect of vers change in the tooltip but it doesn't. Testing is required to see if it actually helps. There was zero misunderstanding, twitch chat was feeding him idiot reasons as to why and he was proving them wrong. It's just a hidden stat or possibly bugged.

It depends for example i have everything individually and also i have different macros like symbols with dance another symbol dance and trinket etc etc

Well, it’s a broken trinket. Expect it to be around in arena for a while. And just wait for Sire Denathrius trinket in Castle Nathria. It’s basically the same thing.

you are not. It only increases dmg/healing scaling portion of versatility not including the dmg mitigation. It makes perfect sense but he got stuck with the idea of being bugged on the stream xD Sure, they could show dmg and healing increased by separating stats on versatility tab, but that would be a change, not a bug fix.

rogues have been top tier in pvp basically since vanilla, them being strong in the beta was due to a bug.

sub rogues and mm hunters are busted atm - a mm hunter one taped me, 2x 9k aimed shot + 1x 5k arcane shot

its bugged when you call him and you are in stealth. Same for hunters with camuflage. Just use him when you are out of stealth. Guess they will patch it, but in 9.1 or something, like small indie company would do

Pets always stealth with you. And this isn't a pet, it's the Kyrian ability, he just didn't klick on it to remove it

yea in arena you see only rogoues fucking OP classes....your killing everybody while he is stunned
