Can't wait to play WoTLK Classic in 2022

WoW is the closest thing we have to time travel. You play it for 5 minutes, and 10 years go by.

Still waiting for new dances, blizzard.

I love how this is recomended to me in 2019, the old WoW official cinematics look like todays fan made cinematics haha, I love it!

I still remember the day this released. I was just sitting at home, on my laptop. It was after school, and I'd finished all of my work for the day so I was just relaxing, playing WoW and talking with my buddies about how awesome Wrath was going to be. They'd already started playing and I hadn't even pre-ordered the expansion, so I was just running around leveling. My dad walks in, home from work, and comes right into the den where I was hanging out with my brother and shows me a bag. Inside was the white box, the physical copy of the expansion. I couldn't believe it. I didn't think he'd pre-ordered it for me, or that he was even aware it was out, but he knew I absolutely loved WoW and bought the expansion for me. I spent the entire night playing before I had to go to bed for school the next day, but even in the morning I woke up early enough that I could continue playing.

The best times of my gaming career. Nothing will ever feel the same as entering Northrend through the Howling Fjord for the first time. After spending so long in the demon-tainted Outland, you could almost feel a fresh, cool breeze of air.

"So come then you heroes. Come in all your power and glory. For in the final hour, all must serve the one, true king." So awesome, even all these years later.

IM STILL PISSED ABOUT THE NEW DANCES

After all this time, still gives me chills. This so far has been the best expansion pack.

It's insane how much I miss this expansion.

This still gives me chills down my spine. So damn good. Damn shame Arthas' original voice actor quit. It would have been epic if he continued to have lend his voice to the Lich King. :(

It's pretty amazing that the entire opening part of this trailer takes place just in Howling Fjord. Really shows how enormous each zone in this expansion was.

Its been so many years now yet this still stirs my heart the same way it did so many years ago. Truly Blizzard golden age.

I like how the paladin turned death kinght it wearing hunter armor.

I thought this was this coolest thing ever when I first saw it. When WOTLK came out, I couldn't wait until I got home. I had so much anxiety when it started downloading, it took forever but I was the happiest little turd in the world. :)

Ahh, memories. I remember all the hipe when they released this teaser at blizzcon. Everybody agreed it was going to be awesome and people didn't only complain about everything (like nowdays)...

New Dances 2023 Wrath of The Lich King Deluxe Edition - $69.99 comes with unique Frostblood Saronite armored flying mount and North Pass to Level 68 (Cannot be used for Death Knights)

This was the best reveal trailer by far, we knew very little of arthas continuing story or northred at the time. And this music, with his actual voice (not the lich king's voice) brings up that nostalgic chill of anticipation.

Best expansion ever.

By far and away the best expansion of any video game ever created, no game will ever top the experience I had with Wrath of the Lich King.

I would just like to point out the only "destructible" buildings we got were the towers in Ulduar... and Siege Weapons were also in Ulduar... so they didn't quite deliver on that one.

If u pay attention, the video starts with Arthas voice, in the end it changes to a mixed between his and Ner'zhul.. he loses sanity over time, in the end the Arthas we once knew became this monster, and we alll loved it! *-*

Good memories. I've played this game more than any other in history. When I finally quit I believe I was close to 100 days across all my toons.

"You either die the hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain." Is it that neither or both happened to Arthas?

I wish that to become a Death Knight, your main had to be sacrificed in a way such as this, where you are put in a no-win scenario against the Lich King's army, you eventually die, but get revived as a Death Knight. I know that people would be all sad about losing their main, but it really is how it should be, since its not a level 1 newbie, its a fallen hero.

10 years already. I'm too young to feel this old.

I remember being my freshman year of high school when this came. I was going through a lul period of playing. Was at orientation and saw my one friend that played. Asked him about and he said without a doubt he’s buyin the expansion. From that moment on I geared. Having NOOOO idea that I was about to experience the greatest gaming experience of my lifetime. God I miss this expansion and the good old days of. Wotlk

I still remember, this was one of the best done reveal trailer WoW ever had.

02:37 the Arthas voice you hear in the Shadowlands when Anduin is being influenced by his Mourneblade. The sword is literally Arthas talking to him.

Man... those were the days. I remember first seeing this trailer and getting so hyped. Watching it now makes me nostalgic and sad.

Back when Blizzard used real ingame models for their cinematics. Wrath of The Lich King is when the main Warcraft universe that began 12 years ago (by 2008) ended, when Arthas was defeated. What came after was the extended universe, like in Star Wars with the comics, games, and the series.

Boy just this music at beginning brings so many memories...

A keen reminder that people were going “WoW is dead/too easy” even back then, during the expansion that is highly regarded as the best one.

hey blizz its been 6 years, where are my new dances!?

I remember being at blizzcon watching/hearing that on repeat nearly all day long while being able to get an early feel for the death knight class and Northrend. *sigh* good times.

This is fairly simple from a technical point, but it still gives me the chills! Was amazing when I saw this back in like July 2007, was REALLY looking forward to this epic expansion back then, played it a lot, had tons of fun AND also got the Lich King down, after too much time! Next time I'll be in a more "just" guild...
