It's not even that they did poorly, they were fine. It's just that Metzen is that great- knows the topic, genuinely has passion for it and has for decades, and always seemed genuine.

Bruh, no new announces like W4, no news from survival ip that Blizz announced before, no remasters comin, just small updates and WoW stole the entire show. They should rename it WoWcon or MetzenCon 2023.

So yeah it's safe to assume that if everything goes right, based on the way Metzen talked, this saga will be the transition to wow 2. I'm excited about that idea and hopefully it happens and this saga gets enough players to convince whoever is in charge.
