I used roberto cavali watermelon vodka for it and it was great a bit to sweet for me but other loved it since all my other vodka was finlandia that i mix with other stuff and beluga that i dtink neat

Looks like a very refreshing drink, only thing I would say is when trying the drink mix it with a spoon and then try it before putting the ice in the shaker, shaking it twice might over dilute the drink and no one likes a watery drink :)

How would you make adjustments if for example it was too sour? Would you add a little more simple syrup and shake again?

+Benjamin Liu You would add more watermelon juice, and reduce the amount of lime juice next time you make it. The simple syrup wouldn't do much for the sourness, but it would make it thicker and possibly too rich. Extra watermelon juice would add flavor, and reduce the concentration the acid, without unbalancing the feel of the drink too much.

+alextars1 I always wonder about that too. He's not the first one to do it. Being gentle to the mint really only makes sense if you're making a stirred drink. If you're making a shaken drink, it just seems like a waste of time to muddle it.
