Just don't open a bank account in Malta. In few years 3 banks were shut down for money laundering, leaving all their customers in despair.

I am Maltese. I've been living here for 37 years. Lately we are a shithole, too many people on this little island. We are overpolluted in all aspects. And in order to live here, especially renting, prepare at least €800 - €1,000 per month for a cespit. And to buy, you don't even dream it. An average 2 bed apartment like a bird cage costs around €200,000 and mixed with another 20 apartments in the same block. No wonder why an apartment in Malta is divided by 4 or 6 people like chicken. Not all that glitters is gold. Keep that in mind.

Amazing documentary about Malta 🇲🇹! One thing to consider for viewers is the super fast transitions of numbers and stats. I think extending it 15 more seconds for us to read would be great 👍 cheers mate

I liked how the girl sheds a tear to the speach by the president talking about going to the moon (figuratively) while generic TLC music is playing in the background, hahaha! Look here 7:40 Great info graphics tho, but keep it pro without generic drama/conspirational music and useless conclusions.

In Puerto Rico there is a big Blockchain community one big reason is 4% taxes for them and Puerto Rico is a US Territory what we need is more information to move through the masses.....

Any money in banks is no longer 'your' money. You simply become another creditor that can be stopped from spending what you thought was your money. We are all subject to a possible 'bank in' if a bank collapses under its own mismanagement. The right to opt-out of that system is akin to the right to bear arms. This keeps the government honest and people sovereign if absolutely necessary. Carrying your own money even in cash is a similar right and protection against a system. Yet they work to abandon cash or restrict one's use of it. Carrying your own crypto in a hard wallet is similar - the right to be sovereign and own their own funds is vital. It will be the only way to be sovereign from being an unwilling creditor. Direct deposits - are just a forced way to lend the banking system money. The option to carry and self-host your own wallet must be defended as strongly as the right to bear arms. We need a crypto equivalent to protect that right was the NRA is for gun ownership. We must do this before it's too late. There is power in numbers. The industry quickly needs to establish the NWA - National Wallet Association.

I'm not willing to watch it again to verify, but I don't think I heard/saw the word 'Bitcoin' once during the video. The other 'red flag' for me here is that Malta's built its modern reputation as 'the online gaming capital of the world'. Maybe it's me, but taking great pride in capitalizing on people's vices just doesn't sit well - Las Vegas comes to mind.

Everyone goes to Malta to get access to the European market , it's the same as it was for gambling. Why "blockchain" island? Contrary to common belief, the revolutionary technology is not a destributed spreadsheet, any more than the tire was the revolutionary technology behind the automobile. The revolution is in the many technologies and unrepeatable factors that all went into creating the only truly decentralized cryptocurrency, Bitcoin. With its blockchain, Proof of Work algorithm, block reward schedule, immutability from completely lacking any leader, and most especially how it's the only cryptocurrency that wasn't created with the hope of making the creators rich in terms of fiat (which is one quality that can now never be duplicated), the revolutionary technology clearly isn't "blockchain", it's *Bitcoin.* This island really ought to be called "Bitcoin Island".
