Downtown Sydney with a rainbow on a beautiful day...thx Ollie. We need a reminder every now and then, especially during this pandemic, that the world is still a beautiful place. ❤🌏❣
Looks like a Threepence probably worth 1 to 5 Dollars. DON'T clean it. Gently brush some of the goo off but nothing more than that. Old coins lose value if cleaned to a polish. Because you know where you found it and it was found in a war bunker, you might want to have someone make a display for it with the history of the bunker and you finding it. That coin in its display would be worth way more than the coin alone.
No doubt, those trees and shrubs were not there when that place was built. It is just surprising that it took that long for the roots to get in there that far.
Nothing personal, but Ratty is looking kinda crusty, like he's been out on the rave scene too long. He might need to go to a rehab spa for a wellness retreat or something.
Gah i thought for a sec when Ollie looked out for the first time over Sydney Harbour that he was gonna say "major blocked drain" when he pointed out across the harbour lmao!!!!
I wonder if this guy realizes he has single-handedly - actually with no hands, he uses a bite-cam - replaced HBO, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video etc., as my source of evening entertainment on hundreds of evenings. And kids (it’s too late for me) if you don’t enjoy your work as much as this lad, make the change NOW!
@@drgreenthumb2190 and that’s why you haven’t, note every where that has lifted their lockdowns have gotten more cases. So clearly your leaders are doing it right.
Had a blocked toilet years ago. Snaked it out. 3 call backs in a one month period. 3rd call I removed the toilet and found in it the upper plate of a denture that occasionally acted like like a valve! Would have never had know it as I replaced the bowl with a new one and found the denture valve after breaking open the toilet trap. This was before cameras and jetting! You have it easy! :)
it is really amazing how good he is at what he is doing. the way that he just touched the ground and he knew that that was the right line is mindblowing. when he first got the water draining, I thought that was it but when he got back in it the second time and got a lot of debris, I just thought, "man, he's good!!"
sad to say, but since you are a successful, white man who believes in Jesus, you are considered (automatically) a racist. not by me though, I also fit in those parameters. good on you for standing up for what you believe in.
Amen to that brother. The persecution seems to just really be getting started, and will probably get a lot worse here in the U.S. Stay strong and don't let anyone label you because of their own bigotry and hate. Our government has divided us so easily, so it's even more important that we Christians stick together and look out for one another. God bless my brother.
Greetings from America! How bad are the lockdowns really, guys? I'd love to hear firsthand opinions. What I've seen online in videos and in reports sounds pretty awful.
In NSW they wouldn't have been so severe now if they'd implemented them earlier. WA has one or two cases and bam! Instant lockdown lasting maybe a week. Then back to normal. NSW wait and see and then have lockdowns that drag on and on.
Beautiful city! I've been there a few times while I was in the Navy. Pulled in one time during Anzac Day and we were invited to walk in the parade. What an honor. Thanks again for a great video Ollie.
80 years of rust late. The drain screen doesn't come out. Who knew. Great to see you using your older nozzles. She still up for the task. The gang all there for a swim. We both have the same boss. All Good 🐀🐦🐊👍🦘
If I can ever travel afar!! Australia is 1st on my list, thanks for your videos..like to meet you 1 day!! Let Gator,Macpie,& Ratty I said hi..from San Diego ca,USA..Godspeed!
Every time you spray into the air, I imagine some poor passerby thinking something awful must have happened lol what a neat job this was! Beautiful view too
If you can Ollie, a few of your fans are coin collectors as I am. I would love to know the date on that coin. Great find and of course another great video. Bravo brother. 👍🏼
I had to pause the video at 0.10 seconds in to take a screenshot of that beautiful veiw. Ausralia is an truly amazing and beautiful place. Another excellent video. Hope you and your family are safe and healthy Ollie. Also hope you got Ratty,Croc and Maggy vacinated against this terrible virus that is affecting us all. All good !
It looks a bit like a silver 3d old coinage before you changed to dollars. Couldn't really see on camera. Often used in Christmas puddings, up to the 60s, but because the the 3d changed shape and metal value, became harder to find. Then the 3d disappeared with the incoming of dollars.
Sir, i truly enjoy watching your videos. I love the faith you have in Jesus and it's good to sir there are still many of us sharing the message. God bless you and yours good sir.
As a Dane I can only say We have a special connection to that view, I wish I could go there one day to see it for myself. Great work on the drains as always, have a great day.
@@dalethedentist Don't know so much about any contention when it comes to Sidney Harbor, what I was referring to when it come to the view as a Dane, is the Opera House, designed by a Danish architect named Jørgen Utzon, one of his best works. So that's why Danes have a special connection to Sidney.
@@purplerunner1715 yes I knew that, sadly it became a political football with Jorgen’s design being trimmed to fit a budget set by a labor government that never really understood the arts
The "zac's" or sixpenny bit's used to be used in steam puddings and they were the only coins that could be used safely because they have a high silver content suitable for cooking,
Honeslty, he gave the reference point and I just had to go to GMaps and see ground level the bunker looks interesting. The whole area looks like a great walking route.
Very much enjoyed my time in Sydney. Stayed down at The Rocks, walked up to the power house museum and all over. Took the ferry over to Manly for a day. Came back after dark and was really fun seeing the opera house and bridge all lit up. Hope to get back sometime and spend more time. Have friends who live up on the Gold Coast. Been too long since I visited last.
Lovely view of the harbour. But I'm not buying that building as a war time bunker. Narrow with a floor drain? A narrow access gap with a kink to prevent people from seeing what's going on? The tiny room at the back? Mate, that's no bunker, it's a Georgian public toilet! The builders must've gotten rid of the pot work before you got there
I can remember in the early 60's at Christmas time, nanny would hide the coins in the Christmas pudding for us kids to find and that the old pounds, shillings and pence had what looks like a 5 cent coin that was a 6 pence. That looked like either a 3 pence or 6 pence. Probably a 3 pence coin they used to call a "Thripence". Unexpected find Ollie. Powered by Jesus!!!!
As a child we too had threepence and sixpence in the Christmas cake until they were all lost or spent because you couldn’t use the new 5cent piece in cakes because the nickel content was too high
Beautiful place. Until you see a WW2 bomb shelter found out realize how close the Japanese were to invading Australia. That might have been a good thing, I hear that most everything there is out to kill you.....especially the Drop Bears, lol Great find on the coin, think that's the first time I've seen you going through the debris looking for more. BTW, soak in vinager overnight, rust stains gone Thanka
Japanese did get to Sydney Harbour in Midget Subs, managed to do a bit of damage too. A lot of the fortifications around Sydney have been there from the early 1800's.
Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue. Beautiful city line. Give us a short when you find more bout the coin. Would love to here. God love you. AMEN
I like it when you show points of interest where you live. Bondi beach was great. And the path on the cliffs. I've always wanted to go, but never will.
