Hounding or finding out what is going on? I do the same thing the old girl did, but I ask if it is OK with the person if I hang about and I never, ever tell the person how to do their job. Asking questions is how I find out things and may help me to decide to call for help before things get out of hand. People who get annoyed by homeowners who ask questions or watch what is going on lead me to believe the person doing the work takes shortcuts or worse. We did some plumbing the other day and found a handful of plumbers' putty in the drain, no wonder it was slow. I people were to take some pride in whatever they do, there would be more trust but too many are out for the quick buck.
She has her shirt covering her nose and she is 30 feet away!! LOL Ollie is breathing just fine, he acts like the smell is pure oxygen and just takes it all in like its ALL GOOD!!
@@CallieMasters5000 had to be the smell, that ol gal looks like she would chew the head off covid and spit it out while she was doing laundry! When she was talking about going out to try to pry that cap off but couldnt because her hands were all wrecked from arthritis, you know she is/was a hard working, no nonsense kind of woman! I wish Ollie woulda got one of them liquor bottles out from under the sink and got light up with her,,,,i bet she has some stories that would make a sailor blush !! haha
Awww you are a gentleman ❤️. You made her happy, now she can wash dishes etc w/o any problems. Having a little conversation with your client is sweet. Not many plumbers are kind. ALL GOOD!👍
Look at you, going all Bald & Bankrupt style with a babushka! She was one of your most excited customers ever! If you had stayed for a drink, 100% chance she'd cook something for you too. Now her son-in-law plumber in England will never hear the end of how much more of a help you were than him. 😁
Drain Addict: Under a bit of pressure. Viewer translation: This is going to be great! Wasn't disappointed either. This adventure was definitely all good. Cheers everyone and thanks Ollie and the drain crew, Ratty too.
under a little pressure, understatement ollie popped the lids off a few that geisered and it turned out it was from the mains the geiser refused to stop for like 5 minutes
This is the drain, not the supply, so the water doesn't stay there too long to freeze. Lots of places do this. We have some supply lines on the outside of our houses here in Texas, but it's a rare tragedy when it freezes and busts all the pipes.
@@CallieMasters5000 Canadian here and you can't do outside drains here as the water will slowly freeze in layers blocking the pipe. And in the rare case that it has to go outside you wrap it in heat tape.
Well Ollie another fine job. I must say you out did your self with the ditty hand swing coming into the house, you almost wacked the customers head off😂 and to that I'll say 👍 All good mate.
She must love plants and tress but they come with roots. Doctor Ollie to the rescue. Rag found ! Clear pipes now. Camera on it's rack cleaned . Very cool effect. Thanks for helping that senior. She was funny.
Great job!!! Your so kind and sweet. So professional!!! Love Nona!!!! LOL This is my first video I have seen on your channel.....absolutely loved it!!! I live in Canada so it's interesting to see plumbing that way!!!!! So much easier for the homeowners to buy a little more time till the plumber can get to you!!! Keep doing amazing work!!! You make a difference!!!!
I had my first real job I needed you for Ollie, even by your standards it was bad. 6 foot main, 3 mains into it, completely blocked and had been for months. A neighbour we hate had put hundreds and hundreds of wet wipes down his inspection chamber along with slate pieces and bitumen blocks, I had to use a rubble sack there was so much. It was 34 degrees here yesterday and the smell well…. I couldn’t tell if sweat or the gunge is what was running into my eyes. I was covered head to toe in the good old sweet corn recipe. I had to use an old solid hose pipe and ram the 40ft run to the front. It had blocked the 3 runs to each house. Can’t wait to see him today :). I do respect what you do mate
You’re just so accustomed to your environment that it’s second nature, and sure is fun to have customers like her. At the end, it’s always a job so well executed.
Awww! She wants to call you Dr. Ollie! You're so smart that if you'd wanted to you could have been. You certainly have the stomach for it!! I can picture The Drain Gang in scrubs and masks! ☺️
I’m soooo addicted to this channel!! But in a good way.🙂 My pups are scared of the beeping noise so I have to do a fast mute. Anyway, thanks for the content, Ollie and friends! 👏🏻👏🏻

Ollie, that sounded like a train at one point. Must be some old earthenwear pipe there too. Great show! Seeing your 'client' struggle to breathe was hilarious.
