Wait til the building engineers find out that they're going to have to dig down past the undisturbed dirt where they were planning to sink their footings for the new building... this is gonna be $$$,$$$ to repair.
Absolutely ! The Oppenheimer post is informative beyond my previous expectations. Ollie is moving in to 007 film territory. What would Ollie’s Mini Me look like ?
Edit: What a struggle, you gave it all! But the moment he said asbestos I was glad you followed the instructions and wore that damn special mask. At least they know where to dig! Keep it up and thanks for filming!
The moment he said asbestos was for our benefit, not for ollie. He was already in the suit. He asked for the guy to explain why they are wearing them for the audience benefit. So we know why they're suddenly dressed that way. Use your brain. 😅
Most people are not aware of the hard work that goes into making sure sewers and water plumbing remains functional. Civilization as is wouldn't be the same without these people doing these jobs.
I love the switchups for your industrial jobs like this. When you have the security escorts like that - I imagine them giggling to themselves as you talk to yourself/the camera. Another fine showing.
That was quite the job! Ratty living life on the edge, Ollie suited up in orange Tyvek suit, walking through football field length buildings, stay safe Ollie 🙏
towards the end you can feel the anxiety and frustration, those masks dont help and are a killer in heat and its even more frustrating when helpers don't understand the system... well done for keeping your composure
@@DTSupstateNYactually no. His website states, and the customer reviews back up, $300 Australian (little under $200 American) to unblock any drain, and no payment if the problem isn't fixed. A lot of these jobs, he damn sure ain't getting paid enough hahahaha. No hourly wage for Ollie!!!
I think it would be AWESOME if Ollie did a huge event for blocked drain 1,000. Have a 30 minute before countdown, and do a livestream right after blocked drain 1,000 ends. I would tune in and watch Ollie live.
@@GWN_Garage if he does, it will be a sad day for over half a million subscribers and supporters. Ollie has created a massive following and something which has inspired other's to do the same. In a sense, he's the godfather of new age drain addicts all around the world. Other channels like him strive to have the following he does. The thing is that Ollie is genuine, honest, friendly, and above all a believer of God. I support whatever he will choose to do, even if that is ending the channel that we all love. It is ultimately his choice.
That was a hard days work Ollie. You never gave up and eventually found the problem. A video of the repair would be good but I guess it’s impossible. The rush of all that effluent, I was going to say crap, but I’m to polite, releasing would be sight to see . Keep em coming Ollie.
This has to hold the record for the deepest blocked drain you've tackled, or be darn close! Considering it was beginning to flood out into those basement rooms, I imagine Jim was in rush to find someone with a really big pump...
That was certainly very interesting to watch and learn from the expert! I guess they need to dig up the whole thing, all the way down to fix the problem. Good thing they called in the professional for this!
While I’m not a plumber, I have been on big jobs trying to unclog waterlines. Nothing better than trying to thaw ice deep in a waterline in -30 below weather. Keep up the good work man!
Really feel for you Ollie, huge amount of effort only to find other people's negligence caused the blockage. Was looking forward to seeing the release of all the backup, could've been a bit messy😂😂👏👍
Hey Ollie, you really are the man when it comes to drainage of all shapes and sizes. If you ever visit the UK make sure you pack your double barrel. There's this building in London next to the Thames River with a big clock that chimes. For quite a few years now it's been so full of c**p and I'm positive you're the man to clear the blockage. Loving your posts mate😊
No one realizes how exhausting wearing those suits and masks can be until they put in an 8 / 10 hour day doing it 👍😀 great job, Ollie, you wouldn’t give up, although the orange gloves gave up per usual 😂
There should be health and safety guidelines in place when you wear protective suits, I know there are that where i live but assume there’s guidelines down under as well lol…
Watching from coastal Alabama, USA… got everyone around here checking you and Rat out. Best is when Jim was sawing away at the errant tree limbs and went a little wild. Bless him for helping you. :) You Aussies are some smart, tough mates, aye!?! Always gettin it unblocked! We love to see it!
Now we see proof of what we already knew about you. That is how incredibly smart you are, you have a knack of knowing where drains go and how they are blocked. This means you are a very smart fellow, not just a drain unblocker but an expert knowledgeable drain unblocker. A great video that shows everyone how incredibly good you are at this job, something your fans have known about for a very long time. Keep up the good work
I think Jim got a little carried away with the saw. He decimated that bush for no reason. I could tell he really wanted to use it and make himself feel useful. 🤣
Looks like the whole globe is blocked. I just looked up the manhole in my garden here in good ol' Germany if I'm affected, too 😅 Even if it' s not "all good" you've done a fantastic job! Great vid!
So what you're saying is that it's blocked? All joking aside though this is some seriously dangerous work, gasses, faecal particulate and asbestos. Should get a bloody medal!!
Ollie wonderful effort proud of you as an ex jetterman myself I cannot say that your machine was upto the task but there you go. From a liverpool lad we'll fine for trying 20 out of10
That was a big investigation! Just the scale of the place was overwhelming! Plus the bunny suit and mask with all that physical work at the end adds to the threat of heat exhaustion. Good Jim was lookin' out for you with some water.
Epic.. just epic.. thank you for taking us along.. typed. Suits in 100 degrees heat sun poring down.. wearing respirators.. yes down that.. hats off to you Ollie and you moved about 3 tons of equipment and manholes.. oh man..
Ollie and Ratty. That was one heck of a nightmare job. I can't imagine the costs involved in all that digging and pipe replacement because someone put too much weight on the sewer line. Good luck to them.
I’m sitting here watching this diagnosing the problem🤣🤣🤣 I’ve watched that many of your videos I feel like your apprentice Fabulous videos From a subscriber from 🇬🇧 P.s. Just noticed Ratty x
Darn, and I thought that I was going to see the mother of all blockages broke free. There was talk about how deep to the bottom of the drop pipe was. Where I live here in the States, there was a storm drain system installed. A John Deere 840 excavator with a 29' down reach was brought in to excavate. He went down as far as he could. Then made a 6' step, drove down onto it and dug down far enough to finish the dig. Have a good day.
Wowza Ollie!! This was a job like no other eh?! That suit and mask looked miserable. Sure hope you still get paid well for the effort! You’re the man Ollie!! 😎
Hi from the USA Ollie. The jetter sounds a bit anemic starting. Time for a visit to a mechanic? I don't see you towing around a steam-driven water pump, though that would be cool! 😁
Ohhhhh man, that’s sooo frustrating!! Once you were out among the construction I kept thinking "cement clog". Lots of hard work for you, now for some R&R! 👏👏👏👎👏👏👏
@@idrinkmilk282 I don't think he gives his time away like that every day as he charges a flat rate for a service call. (per his web site) I suspect he does several jobs a day and we only see a select few.
