Isaac seems like a good dude! At least he didn't have to climb on the roof and clear any gutters on this one, although that would be easier than the work he has in store!
This is like what happened to a friend of mine on long Island NY his main sewer had a clogg He called roto router they snaked it & said it was in the street. This was before cameras for the sewer. My friend called the town they said there is no way its in the street. This went on for 2 years he dug a huge pit & put the main sewer pipe into it. Town fined him & still would not fix it. He got so pissed he rented a jack hammer some cones & dug up the street got to the sewer main connection when they arrested him town looked at the conn since it was dug up found that whoever did the conn used a t by cutting a hole & sticking his pipe in so the seweage would come out of his pipe hit the other side & it stared to build up when it finally plugged his pipe. He got fined 5 grand for digging up the street went to court with a really good the judge heard the whole story & got pissed at the town attorney & the town for treating a resident so badly they had to dig up the street. The judge dropped all charges & made the town pay him & reinburse him all the fines came out to like 10 grand nuts what u have to do sometimes
No idea of the rules in NSW but given where the sink hole and leaking pipe are surely its a council infrastructure issue? Nonetheless, keep up the good work and keep the vids coming Ollie.
You would think so being that the problem is off the property and requires work being done on the actual road, there is no way it should be up to homeowner for thismone
Finally got on to RU-vid! Unfortunately in nsw, Sydney water is only responsible for the boards main and the junction connecting the consumer line to the mains. They take as little responsibility as possible 😅
Thanks for Ratty and your great explanations and narrations Ollie! Thank you so much. Your work is very entertaining. I always look foward to your next video!
Your friendship to Issac is outstanding. To me issac looked stressed about the situation at hand, but your patience helping him find the leak i think brought him peace. Tha look like a big job. Good work getting those prizes out of the gully.😂 Psalm 133:1
For all those in the comments struggling in one way or another, I am glad you found Ollie and another BLOCKED DRAIN video to brighten your day! Thanks for the great content Mate!
Thanks for showing an interesting and challenging repair. Amazing what you pulled out of that boundary trap. Isaac and you make a good team. And thanks for the bonus double feature!
Olly and his team have a big problem to solve I have full confidence that he will succeed I can't watch now but will do later good luck Ollie greetings from the Netherlands.👍👍👍👍👍👍🍀
That was quite the job on the first one but that second one. I don't know how people can live like that. I just can't see it washrooms in the back alleys. I don't know what's going on there. Your country has different regulations and they do up here in Canada and find it hard to believe. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
The whole way they design drainage systems is so different here than where I’m at. By law in Oklahoma your inspection points have to be raised above ground so you can find them easily.
24:26 Anyone else have to replay this part of Ollie's video because he gets a iMessage notification, and you have to check to make sure it's his phone and not yours???? 🤣
I hadn't gotten to the end where you trying to get the 2" pipe back into place with the gap. I thought "If that were me I'd rinse and dry the connection and use silicone". 30 seconds later i saw you do exactly that......which means I've learned some things from the professional. Also, good to see "Ratty" contributing to the job site. I miss the other "boys". Bring 'em back on your jobs.
Hi Ollie, should have a look at the hours on that Honda engine, just out of curiosity, also probably about time for an oil change All The Best Fabrizio
Thanks for another great video, Ollie, Isaac and Ratty! An interesting conundrum with that sinkhole and the pipe. I wonder how many other sinkholes and similar problems are caused like this?
