Blocks + Choy Li Fut Footwork 

This video utilizes the Choy Li Fut footwork pattern • Kung Fu Footwork and focuses on some of the many blocking techniques in Choy Li Fut kung fu. The best approach to this is to focus on the coordination of the body moving in unison, synchronized timing, stability of stance and power in the blocking technique. This is not meant to be seen as a technique to be used exactly as shown in combat. Blocks can be very useful if timed and applied properly. So use this video as a way to remember and practice your basics, then later practice and drill the techniques with a partner in a controlled setting, and finally apply them in a sparring or fighting context.
