MARIE! This has been on my mind for a hot minute! I love to write and feel empowered when I'm able to organize my thoughts this way. People keep telling me to do podcast... I want to get there eventually. All you said today, geesh, I am on the right track. SO VALIDATING. I didn't need to learn anything new today, this was what I needed. I connect with all your tips and agree full heartedly that this is a great perspective to lean into! Myths/%'s really grounded my validation. Whoo I got excited! my bad! Thank you!

I've been "blogging" but haven't yet posted content yet for fear that I'm not an absolute expert and because I've been having trouble coming up with topic ideas. Thanks so much for normalizing and validating how hard it can be to create and post blog content! It's made me inch closer to publishing my first post. So appreciate your content!

I love this idea! Because I love offering psychoeducation, I was thinking of vlogging, but (a) I am mindful of how popular mental health is these days and (b) I really value my and my family's sense of privacy in my small community (and don't necessarily want my face to become too well-known)! I'd love to know about any thoughts or suggestions you/others have regarding different blogging platforms. I have a professional profile w/my bio, but not necessary own website so if I start blogging, I would need a platform to utilize.

Thank you for this video and for normalizing all the fears and dread of writing blog posts and putting oneself out there. I know I have shied away from writing blog posts because I didn't feel I was "an absolute expert" on topics or had tons of fancy tips/advice but I love the idea of being my genuine self and talking about lived experiences and what I see in my practice. This was helpful and it's encouraging me to want to write blogs now! :)

I worry about not writing something original enough. I often see articles, books, or social media posts and begrudgingly think “I could have written that” or “that concept is just repackaging XYZ concept.” It might be because I grew up in a household in which I was expected to be above average, and since that was the expectation it wasn’t celebrated. 😬

Can I dedicate an Instagram page or Instagram threads to post content?

Yes but, if your goal is to attract people who then become clients, it’s going to take much longer and be more difficult via Instagram vs blogging. You can link the blogs to the posts though as a middle ground.
