Not only that but there are many of us hunters who can't go into a tree stand anymore for one reason or another and our ancestors hunted on the ground. The thing that is really sad though is there are a lot of places that archery hunters are not doing their job as ethical hunters and wounding numerous animals not recovering them, causing them to get gangrene which is not giving other hunters opportunities at those animals it is sad to say but the ethics of hunting have really gone down in the last 10 years. This is coming from my guide who has guided for a national youth organization and for disabled vets in cancer survivors and their families. I have been guiding close to 20 years.

@@nickbuker Well lets start here. Camo from head to toe, including hiding your face. Then bring your grunt call and maybe rattling antlers. During the rut the buck will a push a hot doe out on fence rows and small timbers. Look for the deer... Then crawl towards him grunting and rattling once in a while. Then when he come u to check you out, he should look back and check on his doe. As long as the doe says the buck wont leave as long as he doesnt know wat you are, he will stay . When you have the buck at 10 or 20 yards, and he looks back to check on his doe. get to your knees, or sit on the ground, and draw your bow back. He will be a very pissed off through the whole thing, so yes try to keep from getting buck fever. Yes try to crawl until its time to put an arrow in him.
