I really need to rant somewhere, so if you’re seeing this, hi :) I’m in love with this girl, and I’ve never been in love before. But my best friend likes them as well. My best friend asked her if she liked anyone, and she said yes, and that it’s not me. My best friend wants to ask her out. I’m the type of person who would feel shitty about holding their friends back from happiness, so i assured her it would be fine if she asked my crush out. it feels like my heart is actually breaking and it’s so weird and I’m crying 😀 I’m kinda young so idk what this is- but idk what to do
hello. i'm not one to give advice but here's what i think. take it with a grain of salt. your best friend should respect your feelings and let u ask out your crush. u should take your crush on a casual playdate, nothing serious. show her you're a genuine and fun person to be with. just cause she doesn't "like like" u now doesn't mean she won't open up. when u finally ask her out, if she says no, it's not the end of the world. trust me, it sucks but it's all part of growing up. that's my 2 cents. hope it helps and fingers crossed it goes well for u.
I was in the same situation, I made a mistake by not telling her and they are just really close best friends now, I mean I don't wanna sound mean. Tbh I'm happy they have each other. I don't want them to feel alone
