Starlit Citadel reviews Blood Bowl Team Manager, with Kaja Sadowski and Joanna Gaskell. In Blood Bowl Team Manager, players pick one of 6 team races -- each with their own special abilities and play style. These teams then compete in a season of short games and tournaments against the rest of their league in a bid to become the fan favorites. Each game plays 2 to 4 players and takes 60 -- 90 minutes to complete.

Thanks! And yes, our current practice is to set up for an evening and shoot about 4 reviews in one go. It saves us a lot of set-up time and means we can queue up a bunch of complete videos so we're not rushing to hit release deadlines.

I found the background cheering fitting because it's.. well, blood bowl. I have spent now four to six hours looking for next board game to buy and I've been really astonished how bad the reviews are in youtube. This one has been the best review I've ever watched in youtube (about a boardgame!) and I immediately ordered this game from local shop. Thanks for the video, could use a little improvement (eyes on camera!) but otherwise these are the best!

Good, concise review of a game that has a lot of different factors involved. It certainly sounds like a game I might be interested in purchasing. Good use of lighting and editing as well in your video presentation. Would I be correct in guessing that you probably picked a day and shot several reviews?

Actually one of the elf cards is a tackler that was the cheerleader. They brought them in because they were tougher then the males on the team.

this game seems to have very fun mechanics, but the silly macho- dudeness makes it a not-buy for me. i'm so bored with games that include only guys,portrayed in such a stereotypical way. and the few females that are included are all barbies with silly large breasts and bikini armour. im ashamed of the ugly stereotypes that dwell in the boardgame community. good review, though.

I know this post is four years old but I'll reply anyway. The Warhammer world is purposely over-the-top. It's satire. It's supposed to be funny. Blood Bowl is an even more satirically over-the-top version of the Warhammer setting.
