Blaze sounds better than ever and sings this perfectly. I even prefer this to the Iron Maiden album version. And Thomas' playing is sublime and sounds so warm!

I never knew that this existed until just five minutes ago!!! I immediately clicked on this video when I saw it said Blood Brothers with Blaze Bayley. I have always loved Blaze Bayley's singing big time when I first heard it on Iron Maiden's The X Factor. Iron Maiden is and has been my all time favorite band ever for over thirty five years. The X Factor is one of my favorite Iron Maiden albums, and I still listen to it very often. I was 16 years old when The X Factor album came out , and I remember I was very anxious to listen to it since Iron Maiden had a new lead singer. I was very happy when I first listened to it because it was amazing. Iron Maiden at that time really needed a change after the two albums No Prayer For The Dying and especially Fear Of The Dark. Fear Of The Dark album is my least favorite Iron Maiden album, and I only like about five songs off of it. In my opinion The X Factor and Virtual 11 are way better albums and I know that I am in the minority. Blaze did a phenomenal job on this song, and he did a phenomenal job in his time when he was in Iron Maiden. I actually love all his solo albums that came out after Iron Maiden even more than the two Iron Maiden albums that Blaze did. His singing really is better than ever.

Blaze, your voice is better than never.

The Live at Rio version of the song makes me want to dance and scream at the top of my lungs. This version makes me want to sit, listen and cry. And it's just one song. Truly amazing what Iron Maiden can do to bring forth emotions like that ❤️

Blaze Bayley is great and underrated

Steve Harris wrote words about death of his father in this song. My father died in 2000 😥😥 , when this album came out.

Blaze Bayley is the best live performer I have seen.

I've always thought that Iron Maiden should do their last show with all of the current and former members on one stage, for one night, doing the songs from the 40+ years that Iron Maiden has made music and world history come to life. Rest in Piece Clive Burr.

A few decades later I can truly appreciate the time you were in Iron Maiden and would like to say thank you for the time and effort you put in while you were in the band. Just amazing! When Iron Maiden make an Acoustic Album Blaze and Thomas should be there too!

Having come back to this version of Blood Brothers (and having bought this and several TZ albums along the way), I've come to realize that in the time since I discovered it, this has become my favorite version of the song. The Iron Maiden version is of course fantastic, but this more "stripped down" version with only Thomas' guitar and Blaze's voice just resonates with me.

Blaze sings with heart now..he have turned a Biggest singer to me. Im fan of Michael Kiske but Blaze have a especial part of my heart. And the Thomas...What I say? Umbealivible this...you are amazing man...Thx very much for shared with us your tallent.

I'm not bashing Bruce Dickinson. I love Maiden with all 3 of their singers and think they all do their own songs best. But I have to admit I've always thought most of Brave New World would sound better with Blaze, especially this song. I feel I have been proven right in this instance. Up the Irons! And long live Blaze.

How did it take four years for me to find this? Outstanding work! I was hoping that Blaze would find his way to that empty chair across from Thomas; I was worried that the Blood Brother was someone lost and still mourned, but was happy when Blaze took a seat and drinks were shared. And of course it was tea, this is Great Britain! I wish it hadn't taken me so long to appreciate Blaze Bayley's voice for he is a unique and underrated talent. I'm late to the party but I hope my message of appreciation gets through nonetheless.
