@@MistahMexwell actually for most of the artwork for this game all of the van de linde gang members have a Schofield in hand, Arthur has it on the game cover, Micah has it on the score album cover and correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure Javier has it to on his artwork for Red Dead Redemption 2.
@@eddieguererro46 I'm pretty sure he has dementia in rdr1, he says at the campfire that it's genetic in his family and that he's afraid that he'll deteriorate. It's actually pretty sad.
Michal Soukup I don’t really think he was white with rage. Hosea was obviously calm. Dutch was too but he could go from chill to rough within the span of five seconds. That’s what really sets him up, and I like him for it.
The woman chants are silenced by electric guitars... The woman chants represent the braithwaite legacy, and the guitars who take the power into the song, are the sons of dutch
Never loved a mission more than Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern. Added so much character to each gang member. The way Hosea and Dutch acted around Catherine Braithwaite on the matter. John losing control and going crazy until Arthur and Hosea put him back in line. Even Lenny, Bill, and Charles showing concern when they had just found out about Jack being kidnapped. My favorite being character added to Keiran, I loved when Dutch said “Micah, Keiran anyone funny turns up, you kill them” that was Dutch putting trust in Keiran to defend the camp. This is in my top 5 favorite missions, right up there with American Venom, A Quiet Time, Preaching Forgiveness as he went, and Red Dead Redemption.
If you notice, after this mission when Milton turns up, Kieran has his gun drawn with the rest of the gang and when arriving at Shady Belle he helps Molly off the wagon
This music is pure art. It's so powerful I can't even describe it well. I remember the mission when Jack was captured and the whole gang stick together to save him. Dutch was a real leader and everyone followed him without questioning. I was so excited as we rode together to the manor... And meanwhile this music... Absolutely amazing. One of my favourite moments in the game. Well done Rockstar!
Bro that was THE moment for me in the game, as soon as they messed with Jack I was totally and fully invested in the story, as if the only thing that mattered was finding him and being loyal to my family
Spoiler Warning ⚠️ This entire series of events playing for the first time was so immersive. When Sean died, I was already extremely angry. He was one of my favorites. I return to camp to find out that Jack is missing, and walking up to the Manor was one of the moments in the game where it felt real. The anger towards everything was real in that mission.
You are one of the legends that has "spoiler warning" before opening a comment.. I respect you. You have no idea how much shit got spoiled for me by assholes in the comments just blurting random shit out without warning while on my playthrough.
That was the moment when the whole gang, with guns and rifles in their hands, riding their horses with such ferocity, united for a duel with an ancient evil for good and swept them all like an angry river.
The opera like singing at 0:50 onward is just amazing, especially as it plays when you are walking towards the manor with the gang. The whole mission is honestly one of the best sequences in gaming history
2:25 i just remember how badass the whole gang were, all on their horses, with rifle in hand, riding with the same tempo with only one goal - BRING THE BOY BACK in my own vision, most strong and goosebumps bringing moment
This gotta be one of the greatest songs from games I have heard... So epic. This music is the Ennio Morricone (RIP T_T) level of beauty heard in games. I LOVE how the song gets that beat going in 2:24 .
What the hell do you want Weve come for the szechuan sauce Shouldnt have messed with our toilets should ya Whatever complaints you have with us alleged or otherwise this is not how you serve burgers
Man I’m listening to this and I can’t stop having goosebumps. I always found this to be the best mission in RDR2. The build up is just amazing. Arthur slowly walking down the stairs trying to contemplate Dutch’s actions. But you must give it to Dutch he commands loyalty. Goes ballistic over a family for kidnapping a kid.
The little tune that plays during the first few seconds is the most memorable part of the soundtrack for me, whenever that snippet plays I instantly get chills
The moment the gang are marching towards the Braithwaite manor in the moonlight and thoa music started kicking in, I remember saying to myself "This is the best game I have ever played in my life". I'd do anything to go back to how I felt the first time I played this masterpiece of a game ❤
Agreed wholeheartedly. I actually prefer this to how it was used in the mission, cut up into bits and pieces with some epic moments you can hear being totally absent from the mission. I would have got even more goosebumps on my first playthrough if 2:04 played right after Dutch says 'if you ain't gonna be civilised about this' instead of the silence in-game. And if 2:30 played right when the bullets start flying in front of the mansion.
God i love this mission‚ it was the sense of "You go kill everyone of those BASTARDS-" im happy that the rest of the gang was in on it too to go save jack. And the scene with them all lined up was beautiful‚ i got i picture of it during one of my playthroughs haha.
One of the best missions/soundtracks from the game. Riding as a cohesive unit with Dutch as the leader, all with one sole purpose, to get Jack back. Absolutely awesome.
To me this song represents what Arthur and Hosea talk about a couple of times before, the fact that they're just a bunch criminals living a Robin Hood fantasy. The gang in this mission is straight bad ass but think about it: they're escaping from the town they were established because they massacred half of its population, same thing happened in Strawberry before and in Blackwater even before that. And what do they do when they get to this new town? They clumsily try to rip off the people there and kill them all when they retaliate. 5:01 onwards have this feeling of... I don't know how to express it but it is like it's saying "You know you brought this on yourselves and that you will do it again because you don't know better".
Yep, everyone in the camp has his own customized gun. Dutch: Two Schofield Revolvers John: Black Cattleman Revolver Sadie: Silver Cattleman Revolver Micah: Two unique Double Action Revolvers
Rutilio Perez Rockstar could’ve give all of them normal weapons with zero customization but instead they gave the characters unique guns That’s great, a small detail that not so many people have noticed
The song use in the mission was stellar, but I think some parts of what you can hear in this which aren't actually used in the game itself could have made the experience even more exhilarating and goosebump inducing for players than it already was. Like playing 2:04 right after Dutch says 'if you ain't gonna be civilised about this' instead of the silence in-game. Then 2:30 playing right when the bullets start flying in front of the mansion rather than only hearing this when you're inside with John.
I switched off the in-game music and played this track over that mission in my last playthrough, I managed to sync it perfectly first time somehow and it was truly glorious this version definitely should have been played in game
Sean gets shot in the fucking head. The second you return to camp you learn that someone’s son was kidnapped by some hillbilly slave owners because you were playing both sides of the fence. This moment in the game, the gang was in its prime. Children are off limits, women stay at camp and ALL the men go and fight to get that boy back. This part of the game is both energetic and uplifting but also anxious and dark. It’s masterful and I don’t believe we will see another game like this until GTA6 and I’m so fucking hyped. They have some of the best storylines
Every time I replay this game and get to this mission, I grind animal fat from ducks and make sure I have max explosive ammo for my Volcanic Pistol and Spencer Repeater, it turns the confrontation at the front of the house into a bloodbath that ends within a few seconds of detonations, while making the ensuing assault by the reinforcements into short work by just firing one round each into their carriages. It makes the mission far shorter than this track, but goddamn does it feel good seeing the slow-mo of the bodies thirty feet away being thrown back by the sheer stopping power of an explosive Volcanic round.
killing sean and immediately following it up with jack getting taken was such a stroke of genius from the writers. they piss you off once then immediately piss you off even more and get you locked in and ready to follow it up with the best mission in the whole game. when you walk up to the manor with the gang you can FEEL what they’re feeling. the woman’s vocals in this song tell you all you need to know about the total and flawlessly efficient carnage that’s about to ensue. what the gang is truly capable of when everyone is working as one. what an absolute masterpiece
