When a merpiranha is taken from his home in the Amazon River, biologist and aquarium caretaker Bakugo Katsuki is charged with the rare creature's care. Knowing that hybrid lifespan is dramatically endangered when living in captivity, Katsuki will do anything to ensure that Kirishima has a chance. But he's never cared for such an exquisite and compelling creature, and he may find himself with a surprising new friend.
