We all know what empathy is, “To be sympathizing with” or “understanding of“ also come under the meaning of empathy as per the dictionary. Here in this short movie, the team Goutham tried to throw an empathetic light on a fugitive hiding from the law and for a change asking us to look at him and the circumstances he is in, with compassion. They tried to picturize the mental trauma of a person who was deviously trapped in the web created by his own greed for easy money and their effort did not go in vain. Human, by birth, is peace-loving irrespective of the creed, caste, religion or gender. It’s the upbringing, the society, circumstances surrounding him and finally, his own will that either make him or mar him. I thought that Shri Gowtam and his team have done their homework well and dug deep into the character of an outlaw. They have succeeded in showing us his agonized mental portrait. Normally, we hate this kind of people but this film has unveiled another angle to look from and after watching, one will almost empathize with the outlaw. This film has an interlaced message too, that, all such roads a man chooses will invariably have a tragic end. Cinematography is top class and the action of Raghu Dayear is excellent!! He just lived and died in that character. I thought that it would have captured a larger audience if the dialogs are in Hindi. Since there are not many dialogues, they can still release the Hindi version of this. Well done!!! Mr. Goutham and his team. Please keep the good works coming. H V Rao
