My speedrun of Blood Omen:Legacy of Kain with edited commentary over the top. Unedited video uploaded soon. Based on the routing and strategies performed by Adrian. My run has several areas which could be improved - to which I may do in the close future. Thanks to everyone that helped and stuck with me.

This is much better than normal speedruns... Most speedrunners i have seen are total normal normans who dont have anything to say.. You tall thru this really well.. Not umming or errimg and actually talking sense. You deserve success bro!

I wish more people did this with speedrun videos. so often I try to watch and there's no commentary or it's just them talking to their chat or something and i often get bored watching those.

using a heart of darkness gives you more blood than having it auto use i"m very sure. So spend the little bit of time to use a few and then you get more health and waste less time in the animation of 'the heart of darkness'.

Dustin Totten i mean its all just based on opinion but soul reaver 1 hasnt aged well its the clunkiest game ever combat has no purpose except to progress , wrestling with the camera most the time ... But yeah. Id say the best is blood omen 1, blood omen 2 , soul reaver 2 . Blood omen 2 was unpopular but i feel it fixed alot of the fundamental issues the series was having

Hello,what emu you use?I have some graphics issues,also there is a way to drink blood without animation,looks like its works if Kain stay very close to enemy,enemy on "top" and Kain "bottom" (e) nemy (k) ain

I know it was 6 months ago, but he's using ePSXe. I use it to play Blood Omen fine, but I had to tweak the visual setting a little to make it work properly.

What will happen if Kain will all enemies before he turns vampire? I mean while he's still human.

Are you asking if Kain kills are his enemies before he turns? in a gameplay sense, those enemies that ambush you are infinite and overwhelm you.

@@KingBlackToof After he leaves tavern as far as I remember Kain will die after 3 hit and there were 20 enemies in there. And there is a home right of tavern and there were 4 enemies in there. Probably there will be nothing it is a bug, but I always wonder that. Because theoratically, you could kill all ol them, if you tried enough. I mean, don't you ever wonder that :)

Just one question, why use an emulator instead of just playing on the pc version? Is there a time difference?

I wasnt aware of a pc version at the time, look at the videos upload date, it was many years ago. Was there a pc version back then? I do recall trying to record Playstation footage but couldnt capture card such low res at the time.

I think the pc port came out in 1997 but if you weren’t aware of it then that answers the question anyway! Great run to watch. This is one of my favourite games and it’s fun watching it destroyed!

You just used a bunch of exploits. Doesn't count as beating the game if you bypassed 97% of it, imo. May as well dig through the game files as run the ending cinematic.
