In many ways ”the” Bon Jovi song. If someone would ask me to define Bon Jovi’s sound I would probably show them this one. A true masterpiece! The guitarwork is a lot more sparse in the studio than on the live version. On the album Richie mostly plays chords. And pickslides. A looot of pickslides! The solo is very well written. There is one fast part that is pretty tough otherwise not that demanding techically 🎸
