The awkward moment when you've played the game so much that you recognize *every* *little* *THING* featured in this video. I'm surprised by how many end-game scenes were included in this...
@@trezb You know how some games usually make separate animations and separate cutscenes solely for the trailer? I meant to say that if you're feeling skeptical about buying a game because you aren't sure if the trailer is just overselling the epicness of it, Bloodborne isn't a game you'll regret spending money on if your judgement was based on its trailer.
What would be cool we could be one of the old hunters and be Germans student and Maria would be one of our classmates and we would have assaments like clearing out a town filled with beast just a idea tho
Probably one of the most mastercrafted games ever developed. What a team of pure, unadulterated master developers. Will be playing this for the rest of my life.
That's not only ONE OF the best games, it is THE best game ever created. If the entire video game industry has something to say about the true art, I bet Bloodborne is gonna be the only speaker.
+Christopher Greene (astromanchris) I was thinking about a prequel called Bloodborn. Which will tell the story, well, of how the blood was born. That would greatly complicate communication, though. Lol
Alex dude! Exactly the same for me, got this game as soon as I could with my ps4! Best game I've ever played in my life! And it still holds up to this day, watching this trailer now ahhhh makes me wanna go back to my ng+. FROM software make brilliant games, can't wait to see what they're bringing next
I love how this trailer focuses on hunting beasts. When you play the actual game you find out these beasts were just the beginning, the rest of the game has you facing various eldritch horrors and travelling from nightmares one after another. There was something more in this game that the trailer didn't show, drastically raising it's game play experience. Wish more games did this.
Father Gascoigne will forever go down as the most exhilarating boss fight in my personal gaming experience. He's proof that bigger isn't always better, but that a wide move set paired with an aggressive and smart AI will keep you on your toes.
It's hilarious that you people are like "Hope this isnt as bad as Order 1886" You realize who is behind this game? Hidetaka Miyazaki? From Software? You make me laugh, actually look at this game more than just a PS4 Exclusive and realize who is making it and producing it, it's coming from Demon's Souls and Dark Souls mind's, it's going to be a fantastic game.
I prefer the Master Willham dialoguie in this a lot better than the final cut. "The blood makes us human, makes us more than human, makes us human no more." It is descriptive but also mysterious enough to maintain its hidden meanings.
Yes. And it makes more sense, imo and I t’s easier to follow. “Makes us more than human” is easier than “made men by the blood.” “Made men by the blood” almost makes it sound like taking the blood treatment is a rite of passage to mark the transition of adolescence into adulthood, than a medical treatment. Maybe that’s what From Software intended considering the blood isn’t only a medical treatment but also part of the religion of Yharnam. But yes, I agree the “The blood makes us human, makes us more than human, makes us human, no more” phrases are much better.
I bought this when it came out in 2015, but like all FromSoftware games I gave up. I never had the patience for these types of games. When Elden Ring came out I became obsessed with it, finally beating a FromSoftware game. I just recently went back to revisit Bloodborne, determined to beat it. I finally did that last week. I did the "true" ending with the umbilical cords and I gotta say, Bloodborne is probably one of my fav games of all time now. I love the mechanics so much more than the Souls games, the bobbing and weaving, the gun parries. Man, what a game. We need Bloodborne 2.
It's probably the only AAA game I've played in years that actually lived up to it's ridiculous amounts of hype. Amazing game, well done Sony and From Software.
Diego Zelaya What I thought would be a decent and fun game, became arguably the best game I ever play in my life. The story, the lore, the setting, the gameplay, the music, the bosses, I played this game so much I was able to platinum it and even try out the countless chalice dungeons
They put two scenes from two endings, and a sound clip from the third, who ever put this together probably had the widest grin on his face as he finish editing the trailer.
+Geebsy PS4 exclusive has something to do with it. Also, its difficulty is a turn off for a lot of people and it came out the same year as huge releases like Metal Gear Solid V, Witcher 3 and Fallout 4. Though, it still sold extremely well for a Souls game, especially one not multi-platform
+Geebsy Don't know what you on about but Bloodborne is the best selling game in the Souls series beating Dark Souls' 2.09 million sales, but that's based on the PS3 sales (Xbox sales are worse than the PS3 version so it beats that too) The Soul series is not really known as big money making franchise like GTA, CoD and AC. It's a niche series that has it's own brand of success
If they do make a Bloodborne 2 I hope that it’s a prequel. Playing as a hunter in Yharnam while the scourge of the beast slowly takes control of the city would be epic. We could see Ludwig in his human form, we could fight alongside Gehrman, we could see a sane Father Gascoigne. It would be epic! Make it happen Sony!
@@Someone-eb6ih in my opinion i think its boring i play uncharted 4 for 3 hours than i leave it but bloodborne is all about gameplay and thats why i love it
This game made me realize that the guys at Fromsoftware always elevate the source material they work with. The Souls series was their take on standard high fantasy, they turned it into something amazing and evocative, while at the same time being unique. Bloodborne on the other hand is their take on cosmic horror and occultism, which is already a dark topic by itself.
I know that I’m late to the party but I bought a PS4 just for this game. Completed all bosses earlier today, solo-and it was worth every cent, every minute that I played it. Oh, how I wish I could wipe my memory and play through it blind again... Nothing short of a masterpiece.
@@enterusername4650 Bloodborne did not sell well enough to merit a sequel. It's a niche game that appealed to a niche audience that appreciated the game enough to want more Bloodborne, however, PlayStation has too much respect for Miyazaki to force more content from his creation.
Al Malone Or wait for games to get to a cheap price try it for YOURSELF and see how you feel about it IF you're that cautious of a game. Works everytime, there is no rush to get a game.
AntChodeny I sure hope so, there hasn't been any new information since its announcement. Maybe Nintendo is holding it off until the next N-Direct or perhaps E3.
"I hope this doesn't suck like the order 1886 did" If I'm not mistaken the game hasn't even come out yet so how can you idiots say whether it's a flop or it sucks?. I swear as the years go on more and more people are getting idiotic, unintelligent and blinded by media and so on.
i finished it today. got it early. and i loved it. limited gameplay, but i loved the story regardless. so i don't understand either where the hate is coming from.
***** That's the thing though the games industry has been really lacking great story driven games, the last good one I would say was The last of us so I'm glad you think the story is great :)
Jordan T I think it's less that we're lacking story driven games and more that the big titles that get released lack that human element. There's plenty of them to play though, they just don't tend to be the $60 AAA games.
This game released in 2015 and I’ve had a PS4 since the console released and I’m just now playing bloodborne in 2021. I started playing March 24th on its anniversary
What's so funny that gaming companies like IGN, Gamespot, and Metacritic have The Order 1886 a bad score, but customers who actually played the game has give it either a 8 or 9, is something fishy going on around here?
People usually raise an eyebrow at every large review-company that gives a game either a really good or really bad score. Sometimes, they are paid to do it... and other times, the game genuinely sucks. There is no real way to tell until the game comes out and you play it for yourself. It's just how business works, there isn't much that we can do to change it, unfortunately.
You need to understand, that all people who liked this trailer, who has the platinum in this game, without a moment will buy this game and ps5, if bloodborne 2 will come out of course.
Mekenzis This game is the perfect example for how visuals in video games should be made. While there are certainly games with better graphics than Bloodborne, but not many of them have impressed me. This game, rather than pushing the technology just for the sake of looking beautiful, pays attention to a lot of details that ties in perfectly with gameplay and story.
We need an animated prequel of this game. I'd love to see the Holy Church during its prime. Gherman training Lady Maria. Ludwig finding the Moonlight Great Sword. Gascoigne meeting Viola. Djura before he retired. Eileen arriving in Yharman. All events leading up to Laurence's death and the burning of Old Yharnam.
Eliot Johnson not really literally every other comment is addressing people comparing the success of this game to the of the order lol.. like they have nothing to do with each other.
Milk There's been ton of videos about the game, i have not seemed a single mechanic that looks even slightly interesting or innovative. The combat looks like a poor mans interpretation of Gears of war combat. Also, it is just over 5 hours long. I'm not saying it's bad necessarily but it's most likely mediocre. In a nutshell; -Apparently the story isn't that good, which was supposed to be it's main shtick. -Old and tired 3rd person shooting mechanics .-Nothing new or innovative in terms of gameplay -The graphics are good and the setting is interesting, i guess Do you think it's going to be worth 60 dollars? I honestly don't. Maybe i'll pick it up when it inevitably drops drastically in price over the course of a year. The Order 1886 is The Ryse of PS4.
Or... They saw multiple reviews and gameplays and formulated their own opinion on what type of game it is. I'm saying this as a person who enjoyed Sonic Unleashed despite so many people hating on it. Order 1886 is a big disappointment and not what fans expected from a Playstation exclusive.
This is such an amazing trailer. It gives away the entire story, without actually spoiling because nobody knows what is going on. And EVERYTHING from this trailer (that is important) actually makes it in the end game. This is how games should be made.
The director is not very interested in making sequels for his games. He was sort of dragged into making DS3, because of the demands from customer and the company. Honestly, I hope this game doesn't get a sequel as it will limit the possibility of better crafted games from the director. "A corpse is better left alone"...

The RiseOFReptar You See all these scrubs who are hoping Bloodborne doesnt Suck? They obviously dont know who Big M is So that means they're scrubs and more scrubs = More pvp Scrubs
This game made such an impression on me that I went out and bought dark souls 3, and dark souls 2, and I pre-ordered dark souls remastered and picked it up yesterday
Contender for best game I have ever played. Can’t believe it took me almost two years to gather the strength to play this masterpiece (I knew I was in for a challenge since I played games in the Souls series before). Even though this trailer doesn’t do the game justice, it is still beautiful and I can’t get enough of it.
