I'm so happy Christian metal is a thing. I enjoy secular metal quiet a bit, but I'm very spiritually sensitive. I can only listen to so much music about death and hatred before my soul starts to feel sick. a good mix of Christian metal helps balance it all all out

Regardless of your stance on religion, by this point Bloodgood songs like 'Accept the Lamb' and 'Demon on the Run' have cemented themselves as essential heavy metal music. Bloodgood Rocks

I just discovered Bloodgood this week and have been listening a lot. I am a huge Stryper fan and have not found any other Christian bands that I really like, but Bloodgood may change that. From what I have heard so far, Bloodgood is an AWESOME band of the same high caliber as Stryper. These are Christian bands that totally compete with and stand strong among the best of the secular metal bands. What is really cool is that Bloodgood and Stryper are totally different and both are totally awesome. This is a perfect situation because now I have twice as much great music to listen to.

My mom went to church with Micheal years ago and I he was the pastor. Gave me some autographs even though I was a young boy. I like these guys and I always thought their style was somewhat like the Scorpions. That's a huge compliment from anyone who owns any 70's Scorpions albums.
They do! When the singing started I was like, they remind me of a classic rock band, but can't thing of it till the end of the song and realized they sound like Scorpions.

I was watching this video last summer and didn't know Oz Fox was in the band for this release. And I thought, 'Wow, that guy looks like Oz Fox.' Sure enough it was! A great song! Incredible!
Bloodgood is my favorite bands, their lyrics style in the rock scene. They have been a blessing for me though algonos say that Christian rock is not of God

@@curtisbishop8715 Hey at least you found it!! I had to spend a season away from all the secular music in the early 80's along with the lifestyle when I came to Christ. So the Christian bands truly did help me.

I feel so blessed to have my 2 most favorite bands to have albums released so close together this year!! All the metal warriors for the Cross in Stryper and Bloodgood, were instrumental in me coming to Christ in the mid 80's, and when I first heard them both live in 1986 in Portland OR at the Benson High School auditorium, I WAS HOOKED!! And pray for all the guys even to this day! Way to ROCK gentlemen and my sincerest congrats!!
Brother in Christ/Mr. Michael Sweet of STRYPER band posted on social media about the passing of Michael Bloodgood of BLOODGOOD band. I had NO idea who they were before July 2022, so I did an online search, and listened to many BLOODGOOD interviews and songs on RU-vid. THANK GOD!! Tune after tune, BLOODGOOD songs became many of my favorites!!--such as 'PRAY,' 'LAMB OF GOD,' 'MESSIAH,' 'SEVEN,' and the wonderful UPLIFTING and WORSHIPFUL song to King Jesus, 'TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN'!! {{It BLESSES me every time I hear it with tears of JOY!!}} Now (in addition to STRYPER and other Christian and "Metal Missionary" bands), I am keeping ALL the BLOODGOOD band members and their families (and fans) and music ministries in PRAYERS. It is so sad they have decided to end the band after the death of brother in Christ/Pastor Michael Bloodgood, but it is understandable. Now I am looking forward to and praying for brother in Christ/Mr. Les Carlsen (BLOODGOOD's lead singer) with news of his pursuit of solo musical and evangelistic endeavors/collaborations (and as a "Metal Missionary")!!--ALL Glory to Our LORD JESUS!! \o/ [**UPDATE/NOV. 3, 2022: Continuing to PRAY. Almost each time I watch a video with brother in Christ/Mr. Michael Bloodgood or hear his solos (from MICHAEL BLOODGOOD & FRIENDS), my tears must be held back (and sometimes I cannot continue with the video/song), because I know that he is very much missed by many and it makes my heart heavy, especially for his dear wife and family and brothers in Christ/band members from BLOODGOOD. It is all in God's timing when the sadness/grief of missing him would lessen as days go by, so by God's grace, I shall continue to pray for you all, in Jesus' Precious Name, Amen. 🙏+
I just heard Lamb of God for the first time and I was praying they were Christian. Its so hard to find great metal like this with a good message. Love it!
I will say I feel my relationship growing in Jesus Christ more stronger than ever cause I sleep with bloodgood's music every night and day 24 7 I seem to get enough of God's blessing and love every day
I been listening to Bloodgood since the 1980's. This song sounds quite professional, and teaches the message straight to the point. Thanks for the great music and bringing us closer to God.
It's so awesome that the bands i listened to as a teen are making new music!! These guys are just as good , if not better then they were 20 years ago!!!

I asked for Bloodgood to be played during my last MRI. They played this and five other of my favorites. There were tears of Joy running down my cheeks when they rolled me out!
