Damn Lil Jeff, I've seen this story play out so many times & I'm only 24 in Cali. Dude had a great energy about him, the laugh, charisma & the ability to comprehend certain things. Clearly his street creed proceeded him, he didn't need to frontline anymore. But I believe his soul was in alot of resistance to anything good after feeling the world let him down. "You're saying my future not looking bright" he seemed disappointed when he said that and seemed like someone who FEELS things! And perhaps he just said "F it" when things didn't go as planned in life like some of us do. But the OLDER GENERATIONS even my age have a responsibility to drop game when we see ANYBODY like him around us. We might save a life we might not, but how can we live any longer just standing by!!!! At least you can say you tried. Stay prayed up y'all 🙏🏾❤️

Sometimes you crash out and go to jail. Sometimes you crash out and lose ya life. Crashing out and dying when you on top is crazy. From top opp to top dead rapper.
The Black Community: Stop praising Death Music I use to love drill but the older I get the music gets more violent and nasty this is why our children are fucked up this music is not the wave anymore Praise Jesus
I honestly think Jeff should be a wake up call and lesson for a lot of rappers. Some of you have genuine talent and comment and worth ethic that could see you rise. Sure it's a quick way up doing what jeff does. Killing and than disrespecting the fallen. But look how short Jeff's career actually was. He got hit before he even truly made it to the level of other star's. Because the quick way through drill is just that, quick way up. But it also sets you up for a very quick, sudden, and horrific way down. Jeff wasn't just killed on a drill gone wrong. They made SURE he was dead. They continued to fire at him long beyond the point of any chance he was still gonna be a threat. That's personal. Use your talents to build something, and than STOP while you're a head. Transition into something where you can use your new found voice and power to help your people OUT of the life. The entire point of rapping should be an avanue to get out of the life. Not to bring the life into the music with you. Because it'll never work for you. My "drill" play list is a graveyard. Out of around 100 artist, I'd say more than 80% are dead or locked up. And I put it together around 2018-2020. Just 6 years at the longest, and many of those dudes are gone for good. Names like King Von, and Boss smooth being examples. Seriously, you guys have so much talent on those blocks. Don't continue to trade your living homies for dead ones, because shooting people is NOT going to bring your friends or family back. It'll just cause more of them to be gone. I genuinely want the best for you guys who have lived a hard life a lot of us will never truly understand. And it genuinely makes me miserable to hear more young men dying or being locked up trying to prove to someone they "real". As if being real is only murder. Being "Real" should be taking care of your friends and family. Using your head and skills to provide for them. To build better lives for the people around you. So that way they don't die anymore. Not destruction, constructing.
