Very interesting. I visited Tadoba in 2016. My first tiger sighting in wild was in Tadoba itself. And the first tiger I saw in wild was Maya and her then two cubs separately. And its was amazing that Maya is safari gypsy and safarist friendly. It just kept on walking along with the safari vehicles, 20 approx vehicles behind her, 20 in front of her, and she kept on walking almost more than 30 minutes and gave us ample chance to click her . A tigress like her so ferocious allowing safari vehicle and visitors come close, is amazing, otherwise tigers are in general shy in nature and don't come in front of people. Male tigers are more shy, in that sense as a tigress Maya exceptionally friendly for sighting. I was carrying two Dslrs. one with 70-200mm lens, when Maya was so close in front of me , that my150-600mm was useless when a big mammal comes so close. I also able to see Baghdo in a buffer area in front of artificial water hole as mentioned in this video along with cubs. Anyways , thanks for the video which helped me recall my incredible memories.
Amazing work. Waiting eagerly for the next part.. After more than 25 safaris my first sighting of tiger in wild was in Tadoba. I had goosebumps when I saw Matkasur in waterhole 97.I also saw Maya with Surya and Meera in Pandarpauni 1. But it was Choti Madhu who gave me more than 1 hour headon.I was alone with my son and guide on that safari. Thank You so much for taking me back to my memories .
History well captured. Understanding Tadoba is very important to protect Indian tigers and this video goes a long way in establishing this much needed history. If we can keep the traditional counts and likes asides this is a priceless video. Please keep this effort going!

Trust me jitna Chhota map mai dikha rha usse kahi bada hai ye tadoba. Tadoba ke kinare pe shar hai humare. Yaha Asia ka 2nd biggest thermal power plant hai us wajase hume polution se dikkat hoti lakin humare pass tadoba ke saruf mai itna bada jungle hai ki vo hume polution se thodi Rahat deta. Tadoba ke kinare pe jaise city base hove vaise hi tadoba ke kinare pe yaha coal ke khadane hai badi badi. Un khadano mai bhi tigers milte hai.
Last year I was in tadoba and i saw Maya and his son but after some day Maya son killed by another make tiger and than Maya left that area and migrate towards north....

As someone that lives in USA and have seen fair share of jungles in India, USA and Africa (alot). I can say this has to be the most comprehensive doc on lineage. Good job guys, please have Forest Rangers go through this before they start their job in this area. I'm well versed with jungles in Karnataka.

Good work Rohan, my 8 year old daughter has fallen in love with those tigers after watching all your videos about them, she also name our pet puppy as "MAYA" her favourite tigers.

I had sighted Maya, her three siblings (Two females +One male)& their mother Leela/ Nira at Einbody water hole during Summer of 2012. That time the cubs were about 10+ months age. Based on the information gatheted from Kolara guides, their mother died during end 2012 due suspected snake bite. During the PM of the carcas it came out that she was pregnant & four half grown foetues were found in her womb.
