Classic old school joint from the B-Side. This shit was from the Bangin' On Wax album. I cut and mixed around the footage of different videos to compliment the song. Comments appreciated.
Never claimed a set in my life but when this came out it changed alot of music honestly. This was not only a dope song but that album went hard af. Shout out to both sides
These dudes actually had good rap skills and good production and tight beats they should've stopped banging and stuck to rapping.Rip to all who lost their life in gang banging.
The westcoast was big on sampling funk. Dr. Dre & Warren G did it too. One thing about banging on wax was the art was a direct reflection of the lifestyle. Everything was real. I remember when I first heard it. I was blown away at how good the album was. Bloods & Crips Bangin on wax put everyone on alert at what they could do in the studio.
Its bittersweet. They made some good ass music, a classic that was supposed to settle differences on a record rather than the streets. Yet this probably became the album to listen to when you and your homeboys were gettin hyped to go smoke another set. RIP to all the gangbangers that never got out💯
the rapping crips n bloods featured on bangin on wax an any collaborating album's or mixtapes, said it helped squash beefs and some rivals became friends, but these were just few people in a few sets. everyone else carried on beefing.
@@ConvictedRapistTrump ronnie philips even had them write verses for the other sets. They actually had fun making both albums together and this project brought alot of peace and money . This set the tone for alot of unity if your from here , you know.
@@nathyfr3300 Check out Woodie, Big tone, (Lil Wyno Back with a Vegence album ). Rasheed , k.i.d. from Darkroom familia,. just to name a few , Hitt me up If you want more pleany to name, Have anybody I should check out
Real ass gangsters! Aktive AF during these videos, all you yg's soak it up, feel some type of way when you watch, & listen to this bcz they don't make em like this anymore!! RIP!
I can honestly say I grew up banging blood and banging these tapes @ 10 yrs old, and I’m Latino in foster care,?and I really was lead out Of Darkness .. Thanks Bloodz.. I.F LIFE 2-12 all Day.3-11 all night..
Mayne I ain't gone lie, this changed music forever. These brothers brought the REAL streets to a national light. I always go for the underdog. The Crips & Bloods who could spit put it in the air to share your cautionary tales.
The early 90's was the golden era of gang banging! This song brings back so many memories! When that first banging on wax album came out, I had never heard nothing like it before. It seemed different from all the other gangster rap. You could tell it was authentic! I think that's what drew me in! R.i.p to all the B Dogs from this group that not here anymore!
@@hawwndawg meh back in new york it was bad but more organized now its unorganized and alot more shootings over the smallest reasons, LA is prolly 80s-early 2000's
No question Bloods was no small order with this music. I remember this era. I bought both bangin on wax 1&2 on cassette tape. I remember being absolutely blown away at how good these tapes were.
800th comment yall mad that a Norwegian trump supporter listen to the good bumps, no matter the race or creed gotta love them funky beats, settin off car alarms. We all been through shit no more fightin folks do you. Love life an family.
No lie, these rappers were the real gang-bangers... nobody can compare to them on a GANGSTA LEVEL. I've moved on to Intellectual rap, and classical music (Ex 5400bl Bloodstone Villain member).
Samples: Grandmaster Flash - "The Message" Leon Haywood - "I Want'a Do Something Freaky To You" Parliament - "Gamin' On Ya" That's all I know from this song
This song is boss. Only if I could play it and not have to look behind my back all the time. It's so stupid how I'll get shot for just simply banging to a cool song like this :(
You can tell that those 'gunshots' in the beginning is actually two bricks be slapped together. Raw tho. Don't care what you bang, I listen to the B and C side. Great album.
Was never into rap/g-funk in this situation but this shit made me listen to it many times. Bdogs and locs went haaaard on eachother but my heart goes to the damus! Woop WOOP!
kabfik, I've earned a lot of respect for you from these 3 posts man. people like are you what make me happy to be in this pitiful world that we live in. individuals with a sense of reality and maturity are the ones that deserve much love because that's nothing but real talk.
That Nigga RedRum was a muthafuckin problem. He missed his time. It happens though, but his voice flow and bars were a step ahead of his peers. He would've blown with the right promotion
My brother had this first. I was in New York and stores didn't sell this bacc then(only down south malls). He cleared the whole red side out. It took me years to hear it. Still Crippin tho. Crips came harder. I killed yo dead homie was the weakest on here. Crip Crip Crip was saved by Lady Cee Note from 20 Crip
I don't anticipate that song like the rest(it's a filler song. Those aren't weak songs tho). C Blank Ride n Time Is Gone are good songs to end the B side on both albums. Steady Dippin(album version) is the best song on that whole album. Crips hated that album because they wanted to do a pt2. The filler on pt2 was Can't Stop Won't Stop from the bloods

first, i mean no offence to anyone. i want to make that clear. but i really like this song and the video to. i live in wisconsin, and though most people think of wisconsin as like cows and cheese, i was a gang member in my teen years. i've put that life behind me, but i know kings, vice lords, one true blood... what i'm trying to say, is this reminds me of my youth. and while i HAVE put it behind me, it's nice to reminise(Spelling?) thanks for uploading this video and making it.
