Well...What a tale of 2 totally different Festival experiences...
Firstly - All of The Good 😁
It started absolutely seamlessly! Everything went off without any issues at all! No traffic, no queues, we meet everyone super quick and all got camped in Midgard togetherish. And It's an absolutely perfect festival! Make no mistake, it's spot on for the Community vibe we all have & Love. Bloodstock is definitely a meeting point for a few hundred of my closest mates that don't live close and we spend hours catching up & sharing stories.

I'm amazed at how many people quote certain things back to me that I've said in old videos & repeat flippant comments! I absolutely loved catching up with you all 🖤 and really did my best to at least get a quick "Hi & Bye" on camera! Especially in the first 2 days! All such positive stuff! & It's great to see we're making an impact on your lives by just screwing around & being ourselves. + The videos are now sponsored by The London Metal Coalition.🤘🏻
The highlights band wise:
🤘🏻HATE!!🤘🏻 They were exactly what I needed! But so early! & We hadn't slept!!! 😂
Killswitch Engage (I was always a Howard guy) but they absolutely smashed it! & Took me by surprise.
Abbath I have never seen them be that good!!! 😂 I have seen him many times be sloppy as fuck but this was a good show!
Decapitated - My neck still hurts from headbanging that fast!!! 🤘🏻😎🍻 Exactly what we needed!
Lokust what a turn out! It was cool to meet so many people who went to the show, on my RU-vid recommendation! I tried to get this on camera as much as possible, I was shocked that it had that kind of influence!!
& Kinda the same thing with Sanguinem!!! It was so cool to follow their story from winning London Metal 2 the Masses to playing Bloodstock. That Live performance was so much better than the recordings!
The Bad
Unfortunately one of the worst things I've ever witnessed happened at this festival...
After Abbath we had gone back to Camp for more drinks. Whilst walking up to the toilet, I walked into the scene, slowly figuring out it's where my friends were camped & That Vyte had passed away in his tent.
Going from such a fucking high to watching that, was the biggest emotional drop I've personally ever had. Total silence...The Bloodstock staff & security were respectful & handled it as best as they could. Watching Debs give that speech to us lot after waiting for what felt like hours was too much for me...I couldn't cope & was a crying mess. So if any of us seemed off on the following day thats why. So many of us are still in shock & it really hasn't sunk in at all...
But we all stayed, we finished the festival, it's definitely what he would have done/wanted & my hope is that our little group of mates really pull's together & support/ check in on eachother through the following few weeks/months & most importantly the now empty feeling Gigs. Because he was at absolutely everything with us! A gentle giant & Absolute Fucking Legend.

On the way home
4 miles from Oxford services our car had ESP failure & suddenly went into Limp mode on the motorway & so we had to crawl down the hard shoulder 😂 I managed to reset the ECU at the services and got the thing 9.5 hours home, but it was a tough one! We passed out nearly straight away and my Mac completely broke whilst uploading the footage so hopefully thats not corrupted & I'll be working on the next series of Bloodstock Vlogs throughout this week. As usual 7PM & I will do the LiveChats🤘🏻and will be spending a few hours catching up on all of the messages I've (Not) ignored!
