Point of the video is you need at least 50k coins to get a colored astronaut. This is 100 days total of reaching the daily cap of coins, and roughly 3 and 1/4 month. Good luck everyone... you’ll need it.

2000 boxes actually only gives you a 63.22% chance of getting it. The calculation that you did at the end wasn't surprising, it's the basic calculation of how many boxes you're supposed to need. I was disappointed for sure. 5000 boxes gives you a 90+% chance, which is good enough for me. Take my word for it, you need more than 2000.

Wrong formula, the formula is 1-((1-r)^n=c, where r is the chance of you getting it from one box, n is the cost of a box, c is the chance of you getting it.
