The card is interesting in commander but I wish the damage rate was higher if you don’t cast the impulsed cards in that format because 2 per card for a 5drop vs 40 life is kind of underwhelming without other support

Definitely agree, I do like how it’s mono-red so it can go in a number of strategies!
