I would genuinely really enjoy a BMC 2 with the modern BTD6 age graphics and towers. I didn't quite max out BMC, but reached round 100 on contested territory, unlocked temple, and I think up to BFBs to attack with... Beyond that, I would have to open it up again...
Make it start with quincy and 1 engineer and then you unlock towers slowly by capturing tiles and engineering them (for stuff like the tack and bomb shooter)
Sincerely I think it has SO much potential if they make BMC 2. As a old player of BTD5 i could not believe the actual state of BTD6 it looks like a total professional game. If BMC2 gets and upgrade it can resolve all its flaws that it has right now. I personally think there's a good chance they are gonna make BMC2. Although it didn't receive an update for some years, recently they re-added a dead feature, which is the seasonal events like 4th of July (even though it doesn't actually activate in July lol), Easter, and Christmas. If someone at NK has turned their attention to BMC, I believe they are preparing something new. Good review!

everyone i see just spams towers randomly everywhere because its more efficient, but i honestly enjoy making my city actually look nice instead of a mess of buildings
My disappointment about BMC Mobile was that NK cut second town building. It really added more replayability in a flash version. Some achievements still say something like - "crank up to 5000 power in one city", which doesn't make sense anymore :)
Tip for anyone interested: You can farm monkey city cash by replaying the Sun God track in My Tracks after you click on the bottom left corner. You can also redo the easy to do Bloon Chipper track with Monkeys currently activated with monkey arms to farm Bloonstones. Its by far the best way to do it.
@@pyritepirate3991 Ah, its a pain in the early game. The bloon chipper track is probably one of the hardest tiles if you aren't leveled up high enough. But in honesty, its possible dark monkey only. Theres no leads, the balloons get progressively stronger on each round and theres 1 MOAB which always comes out on the left track. Level your city up a few times before trying it again
I must say despite all the posotives it eventually gets to, get to level 40,capture all tiles, and max out monkey knowledge which does get very repetetive BUT monkey teams does make it interesting sometimes as a nice challenge
If youre playing on mobile (like me) you can watch a ad for like 30 seconds (you can skip some still get it) for 15 mins to be taken off and theres no limit you can spam the ad as much as you want :)
Dude I love Bmc Alot, I play pretty much every day every couple hours cause It really just is a very enjoyable game to play. I hope nk makes a bmc2 with all the btd6 and btdb2 stuff
Been loving BMC!! I founded my city 90 days ago and I’m at level 32, all monkeys and upgrades unlocked except the one that needs a crystal shard plot, which I’m working out toward.
Ive played bmc and btdb a lot in the past, ive recently got back bmc(im in the middle of waiting for my temple upgrade atm). I think its kinda unfortunate that btdb is basically dead cause of powers and all of the players having migrated to btd6 because it was a massive part of my childhood. For some reason i cant get into 6, theres something about the gameplay loop or the engine or SOMETHING that i just cannot enjoy it, am i the only one that feels this way? Anyway im glad theres still some community around the old 5 spinoffs, it brings me back. Thanks for the memories
If BMC2 is aanything like Battles 2. It probably won't be better than BMC1, sadly. I think the fact that BMC gets no service makes it better, because it has the btd5 graphics, and doesn't have that modern feel to it. This inspired me to reinstall bmc, thank you.
If they didn't do Battles 2 dirty, it would've been an amazing game like it is currently after a lot of fixes. So if they take their time for BMC 2 and make sure it's polished, it's going to be an amazing city builder for sure.
One of the most nostalgic games ever for me. Just the bloons series and spin-offs in general. I always grinded this and battles so much and when btd6 was announced the hype for me went through the roof. I need BMC2
Wow this seems really cool, I just recently got back into the Bloons Series after like 6 years, I have a couple videos about Bloons Monkey City but I'll make sure to keep going. Plus I've been playing on Flash on my old early 2011 MacBook Pro, so I get the full classic experience.
have loved this game for years. im at level 35 and one of my favorite parts is just how grindey monkey knowledge is, like its clear im gonna be maxed out in the game LONG before i ever come close to maxing out monkey knowledge. yet at the same time everything feels so rewarding. the one thing i wish was different is the max level cap being increased even if only to like 45. and im fully with you on wanting a BMC 2, that would be super awesome
The "Hard and Heavy" and "Regrow Rush of Death" Modifier is extremely difficult for early game players, they barely have the power to pop Ceramics and they only have a few upgrades to pop Leads and Camo (Not being offensive here)
I think the main problem with the game is the difficulty curve. In btd6 evrey round gets harder and harder as the game counties. Here? Once you get to a certain point evrey level feels the same and you know you are going to win
There is very much isn't any thought put into an ultra late game. I geuss they figures CT, bosses, and expansion was enough. If they make bmc2, I would love to see how they make it work
I think biggest minus about this game is that progression isnt very balanced. Its fun till somewhere level 25 (50-70hours) where you can probably capture every single tile in the map. The special tiles run out pretty fast and the normal ones doesnt get really difficult even close to the edge of the map. How ever there is still a long way to go in terms of upgrading your city but it feels dull when you dont really benefit from it. It would be nice if there was more special tiles Ofcourse there is the contested territory but that gets pretty boring and when you get close to the level 30 the late games are so laggy that it comes unplayable. Maybe with some crazy pc you could play them better but idont know. I alreadh got pretty good pc but round 70 seems to be the comfort limit for me
gotta love how you going to do CT and then see that all ur opponent are players that are 1 lvl below you but somehow have almost all their shit maxed to t4 while you barely got t3s and then the guy without said stuffs somehow hit R37 on tough af map for some reason
dang i feel like I'm way above the curve, only at level 27 and I have temples, and I can send zomg, but Don't have enough quite yet to get to round 100
i love BMC because of its progression, bt6 has progression with the towers but its pretty easy to max all those out and after that progression kinda hits a brick wall, nothing else you do will help your monkeys get stronger. but in BMC everything you do will help you either in you round defense, or your city building. Its really nice to feel like you are always progressing no matter what you do.
Game of my childhood. As a matter of fact, I was one of first people who hacked the game long time ago, adding infinite resources thanks to editing Flash version using SWF decompiler. Of course I got bored & banned. Nowadays: last months I play game or two almost each day, as I'm competing with my younger brother ;)
In fact yes as long as you get a mod from happymod that gives you a lot of balloon stones on pacific tiles in fact in only 15 days i got the city with everything achievement of course with the power of balloon stones
I love the game but the problem is that when you win every "impoppable" its boring beside btd6 you can play rally hard like really hard if you play hardest map without hardest mode or play eventuelt its always a point where it gets hard but in BMC it gets not hardere when you have beat over 100 impoppbel maps
i dont think there will be a sequel i've played the game for about 5 years and the game has been left unchanged they've fixed some exploits like being able to glitch place monkeys at the edge of the screen but they have not really added anything to it and the player base isn't as good as the old one making contested territories easy to win so i thing eventually the community will dieout
This game becomes too easy. i have every building built and every updgrade unlocked, max level 40, level 7 minimum on every monkey knowledge and at this point i can beat every tile on the map super easily Now all i have left is ridiculous grindy achievements like beat 1 million lead bloons or defend against 2500 monkey v monkey attacks it just isnt fun
