@@mellow3995it’s just a placeholder, the official art is either in the works or is being kept secret for reasons. NK isn’t the type to just have unfinished assets in their updates (i think, it’s been a minute since i’ve played)

It would be cool if the mermonkey was able to create water on land so you can use water towers on non water maps in chimps mode. Also I’m hoping that the next paragon will be either a support or a primary tower, maybe an ice paragon that has an ability that can slow down bads

Could be neat if one of the tier 5s got that, like a reverse arctic wind. Though that also sounds slightly busted, since sub and boat are both really powerful to account for the limit of being locked to water.

Correct me if I’m wrong but that makes the 5th water tower in the game with the introduction of mermonkey. (Buccaneer, submarine, brickel, pat, mermonkey) This is especially nice since maps with lots of water (especially that one archipelago map that I keep forgetting the name of) get a tad bit stale when spamming submarines or buccaneers, so its nice to have a third option. Edit: The map I’m thinking about is spice islands and there’s 5.33333… water towers because beast handler.

Why this is good: Ice not being ice tower "exclusive", white will finally maybe hopefully have a decent resistance. A non military water tower! Pat and brickel dont count, neither do beast master as its a land placement

Random fun fact, ice can also be applied by Druids (4xx) and Engineers (4xx). Corvus can also apply ice. That being said, it certainly is quite nice to have ice be on another tower.

Edit my comment was vague, sorry: You need to micro those towers, there's no "You don't need micro" if you use them, they're useless without micro (except maybe bh, but bottom path only) whereas ace, heli, gunner, and even mortar are intended for micro, yet still good if you don't. Sure it's probably just a skill issue, but I don't want to sweat a monkey game like a try-hard loser.

Kinda crazy, but I made my own mermonkey tower for a school project many years ago Top path: Tridents that split into more tridents (like airbust darts) Middle path: Spears and spear guns (Ability was a DoT shark that shoots at a MOAB, BFB, DDT, ZOMG, or BAD) Bottom path: Homing shark tooth spears The Paragon was a combination of the three paths, and did 25% of a bloon's hp every tenth shot (insanely broken ik) (Had triple shot high dmg, high pierce, and an attack speed of "fast") As you can see it was very Spear based and could only be placed on maps with water, with water in their radius. (I thought of that before NK made the Engi sentry change) It was a magic monkey aswell so thats cool Edit: Idk if I made this before paragons were added and made my own paragon after or what

Sam is gonna be next hero. 0:55 wait you still have that? Sam is gonna be able to do anything he wants. He is gonna be very powerful but damage the player in some way because that would make for a great hero and I just watched an animation about the song „It’s gonna get weird“ scrapped from Gravity Falls. 1:14 Is Psi gonna have cool visuals to show of the sudden possible and trippy reality changes a dream can have? I remember that I was playing a game in a dream and after like an intermission (probably REM sleep cycle) I was in the game and it was kinda scary because there was something weird with teeth. Sleep is pretty cool. 1:42 you’re on a bean bag. I just realised that. It does look pretty nice tho. Was it comfortable and does someone else usually use it?

MERMONKEY SHOULD GET EXTRA BUFFS BY OBYN LIKE DRUIDS I just think it would be cool if obyn buffed mermonkey and druid like striker jones buffs mortars and cannons. I dont think Obyn or the mermonkey would be op (at least from the tiny bit we've seen from mermonkey). The synergy and fun strats between obyn, druid and mermonkey would go crazy. Obyn even has a ocean themed skin. Ninja kiwi will probably not see this but if obyn doesnt buff mermonkeys i think it'll be a missed oppertunity. (Also thank you ninja kiwi for the mermonkey. I didn't think we'd get a new tower in a long time🙏)
