Hey RU-vid! I've been over my Pixie haircut lately and wanted to change it up. SO, I decided to go BLUE! I chose to have my beautician color my hair, because I was nervous to do it myself. I love the color, but was very disappointed to see how blotchy it was. No, the color hasn't grown out, because its only been a week!! Anyway, your girl is resourceful, so I touched it up myself. And honestly from now on, I will color it myself and save myself some money and time in the hair salon. This could have been a rant video, but I chose not to take it there.
Products Used In This Video:
Manic Panic Semi-permanent (Rockabilly Blue)
Color/tint brush
Plastic Gloves
Nairobi Foaming Lotion
Black Wrap Strips
*Most can be purchased at Sally's*
If I decide to put some extensions in, I will color a few piece for blending purposes. Can't have blue leave out and non-blended weave!

It's just sad. They get lazy and think we aren't going to notice. I was a faithful paying and tipping customer when my hair was cut. After that visit, I never went back.

The worst thing about a bad hairstyling by a professional, is the tip you feel obligated to give them. I went to a barber to design my undercut. I could tell by the other stylists reactions that it wasn't going well. I had to go home and shave my hair down to the shortest clipper gaurd length for it to even show. I dont usually get anything done at salons, I can mess up my hair for free, but I knew that I could not do an undercut design. Well needless to say, neither could the stylist. I always leave disatisfied! Thank God for RU-vid! My go to for ideas, techniques,tips and tricks!

Thanks for the video. I was considering coloring my dark brown hair with blue black dye but my hair is about 10% grey. After seeing your hair and observing how the blue (over lightened area) turned out, this is exactly what I was looking for. So beautiful and classy!

That looks awesome! I have Adore's Rich Eggplant arriving tomorrow to use on my very short hair. I bought clippers to cut my out of control hair because of Covid19 and no salons being open still. My last haircut and color had been in March. I have never used clippers before or colored my hair so I'm going with the semi-permanent colors. I don't expect a color change but hope to get maybe a touch of color in the sun type of thing and maybe hide some grey at my sides. If not, no harm no foul to my hair. Wish me luck and thanks very much for your video.

You did a great job you should be proud. Your hair cut is so nice and I love the blue. I hate when so called professionals don’t do your hair right. It can be very stressful, but we can achieve greatness from their flaws -which cant be good for any business. Thanks for sharing!

My hair is literally like this right now. Short pixie, blotchy. Except mine is red. It's harder when you have pixie hair! Theres no hiding the blotches lol
