hi. Al. I. do grooming. I worked at a salon for 7 years and in my. heat I have had 13. wonderful poodles. I have two standards. now would not let any one else do them or put them in a cage I hate. cages ,,I hate to b in small places and so do they. .it is a joy to have them xo

Thank you so much I bathe dogs for two groomers and I have been struggling to fluff dry the poodles and all curly haired dogs.

I have the same dryer. It takes me about half an hour to dry each of my Standards. I got sick of the loud noise, and bought a Chris Christensen dryer. A lot quieter, and the nozzle is a bit wider, which is nice for drying topknots.

I finally bought that dryer and I love it, this is an older video with the loud dryer. I think I am going deaf from the old dryer.

Everytime I go to the Groomers i have trouble defining what i want the hair cut style to look like. The poodles in ur video are exactly that. How do you describe to the lady or gentle men what haircut style you want.

I thought it looked docked on the grooming table, then when she was on the ground, I thought, well, maybe not. Then I thought, maybe she carries it very gaily. Then I thought, I am just gonna ask, lol! They are all beautiful. I am a groomer as well, on a mobile unit, and I am dying to adopt a standard poodle. I have become a woman obsessed, lol. I just can't wait. I found a cream female, but the timing just isn't right...ah, decisions decisions. ;)

Oh and what size grooming table do you use? I wasn't sure if 36 or 45 long was better for a standard :)

How much does a dryer like that cost? Would a shop vac do the same?

I need to know how to dry my standard poodle's ears. They always look so frizzy and hard to brush after I do them so I know there's something I'm doing wrong. :(
