We just moved here in February, and I have ALWAYS been a huge fan of the Blue Angels. This year circumstances prevented us from seeing them live for the first time but I'm so thankful that you and others of our neighbors and community have posted their footage, at least we were able to enjoy them this year again from the comfort of our new home in Navarre. Yeah they'll be going over that video a few times. At 20:36-37 and stopping the video as fast as possible, you can see the cadence is off for whatever reason from the rest of the ship roll.

I Have On Gone To Base Air Shows, They Are Really Restricted Base Air Shows, City Limits I See.
A over the water airshow is OK..but I enjoy watching a airshow at a airport better. For me it is more fun actually seeing them take off and land on the runway. Also no short field take-offs or landings at a beach airshow
They fly all over the island, but the worst thing is the access to and from there. The airfield also has the advantage of no buildings blocking the planes.
I made the mistake of turning down toward Ft. Pickens and got stuck in that traffic. Even worse is when you try to find a parking space and accidentally head north with almost no way to turn around.
This is a "practice" show they always do at Pensacola Beach mid-season. It's a camera/spotter two-seat bird (F model) flown by the narrator (#7 that also does VIP/celeb demo flights). Someone in the back seat is taking video/pics. The team always has cameras and safety spotters on the ground when on an airport practice. The only way to record this practice show and have an extra set of spotter safety eyes obviously being on a beach full of tourists and over water was by air. This was also witnessed during the awesome Blue Angels/Thunderbirds formation team flying over chosen cities during the COVID lockdowns in 2020. They flew right over my house in northern Atlanta. Video of that is here on YT too showing the #7 hanging out when flying their older legacy Hornets.
