I've lived in Pensacola for 7 years now. Work at the base frequently as a roofing contractor. It never gets old watching these guys. It's just hard to get stuff done when they're working overhead lol
I was putting up a tower crane near a air base and these pilots scared us bad they looked like they were going to hit us when they passed we were waving at them they were waving back that was very special. 😊
Got buzzed by two Tomcats in the early nineties while in Florida. First one passed and I hadn't seen it coming and I weirdly ducked! Turned around and watched the second one fly by and I was by God proud to be an American! 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
Our JTF2 ain't too shabby either. Their citizens have the right to bear arms, and ours have 'free' access to healthcare. Just hope NORAD is here to stay. If Canada pulls it weight in terms of military spending, North America will be a force to be reckoned with. Cheers!
It's so fun being a Blues demo veteran and recognizing when they are setting up the sneak pass. It's almost always when the diamond is performing a changeover roll (like transitioning from echelon formation to the diamond mid-roll) and #5 is coming in hot from the left as the crowd all have their heads turned right following the diamond. I love turning to face the incoming jet and watching the crowd's reaction.
I was there (again)….this year they did a DOUBLE sneak pass….from the left of show center as well as from 6 o’clock almost at the exact same time…WICKED!!!!
