People in the comments don’t realize where exactly Hoshino’s strength lies. Hina’s strength is in her overwhelming power to overwhelm her opponent. Hoshino’s is in her tactical strategy and her stalwart defenses. It’s a battle of attrition for her.
It explained in story too. Hoshino like Lonewolf, High defense and tactic that match up disaster, like Binah. While Hina dominate all student battle with her raw power. Hoshino (a person who match army power) vs Hina (Literal army power in person)
And what that exactly excuses or justifies the fact that she lost? Both are tactical and have high combat intelligence, one of them excels at defence the other at offence. Through the fight Hoshino tried to slip away and also tried to take down Hina with sneak attacks to engage in CQC, which Hina countered all of them and chased her down until her assaults finally made Hoshino collapse.
@@Ylaid because their strategies for battle differ instantly. Notice how whenever Hoshino gets too close, Hina immediately tries to regain distance between them. And Hoshino is always doing whatever she can to close the gap between them so she can land a hit.
Damn, I kinda understand why Kasumi cries at the sight of Hina. If I saw a person be able to swing around and while firing a 25-ish pound MG42 with one-hand like a toy sword like Hina did during 3:35, I'd be scared of them too. (For reference even a two-handed sword like a Zweihänder is usually 7-8 pounds at most, so she is essentially swinging 3 times the weight not including the weight of the recoil she should have while firing it.)
@@itsacharcoalice I'm really looking forward to the adaptation of the Eden Treaty, but if we are talking visual battle spectacle that I'd want to see transitioned into the anime, I'd really like to see the Neru vs Abi-Eshuh suit Toki.
Hina also kept up with the train after jumping on the mountainside, and put damage on Iron Horus, which notably blocked what was essentially a large orbital laser without much of a scratch.
The animation was outsourced to Stellation Studio, a fairly new studio. Idk if they're related to Yostar Pictures or not but the quality is definitely better than the anime. You could say their works are stellar.
The train doesn't really seem like it is moving that fast tbh, not to mention she is as inhuman as Hoshino with absurd strength and agility lol She basically used her environment to use her inhuman strength/agility to catch up to both Hoshino and the train with jumping and sprinting
@@Ylaid Add onto that, Hina is in combat multiple times a day, Hoshino lazes around (even though some say she does patrol at night, questionable whether she gets into battle often during those patrols).
you got admit iron horus if very solid, for foldable shield with amazing durability is close to imposible, is usually compensation for every foldable tool with lower durability
Honestly, I like the chibis fighting better than the animated segment too. Although the animated segment IS really cool and all! Just, the chibi fights are executed so damn well and they're very snappy with the animations.
This is what happened when the director of the Blue Archive Anime got disappointed on the outcome of the anime. He goes all out cooking with in game cut scenes and boi. Nexon really let him cook Chapter 3. I hope Nexon lets the Blue Archive Eden Treaty of anime cook perfectly.
@@leiviniabirdway5945 this specific cutscene is made by stellation studio, not yostar pictures, but I understand what you mean. Yostar had to work a lot so it's understandable that the quality of anime is not as good as the game
@leiviniabirdway5945 this was not yostar yostar can't produce this type of artstyle replication This was studio stellation Not just animation the anime had so so many problems like sensei breaking character, scenes being changed when they don't need to be, shiroko becoming the main character, etc They turned it into a cgbdt
@@aokyoutsuki7744 It means cute girls doing cute things it's actually CBDCT (I messed it up a little) Intially that seems like it fits BA BUT CGDCT are specialized toward a certain set of cast including 0 male presense such as Yuru Yuri (which is the only anime the director of the BA animation has done before and it's not even Yuru Yuri it's the OVA) Bocchi the Rock!, and K-On!. Those last 2 are more popular. The director REALLY wanted to make BA one of those but couldn't due to the presense of Sensei. If the leaks are proven true then it seems that Sensei intially being designed as a woman would have fit this narrative better too. Basically it's Slice of Life with 0 males and have some Yuri like implications However CBDCT is not the genre of the game which would be SOL and the (anime) harem genre
The fact that hina need to be in full power just too overpowering a single person is telling how powerfull hoshino is. Also hoshino didnt fight to incapacitated. She fight for stalling. If they do fight for incapacitated, we might see something interesting. Nexon genuinely tried to make us see hoshino and hina is their respective equals.
I don't think Hina can achieve terror withing herself like Hoshino did. Hoshino is like the elephant in the room, she looks normal and all but she's actually a god. I don't think Hina can really compare to the greatness of Hoshino's character. Like try to imagine Hina in Hoshino's place. I think she would have just off herself.
This is a battle of defence vs offence, but actually Hoshino strongest point at her prime are speed, not defence. in the 1st year story she didn't use the shield Horus (Yume is the one holding it) eventhough it provide insane defence, the reason for that is because she can close the gap in an instance and barrage enemy with auto-shotgun blast in close range, the shield only slow her speed down. We can see a glimpse of her speed when 1s year Nonomi tail her and when Nonomi turned around 2nd year Hoshino already stand beside her. But after Yume dead and Hoshino got some underclassmen Hoshino started to use the shield to protect herself because she can't allow herself to use risky strategy and have her underclassmen experience the fall of her like when Yume die.
@@kimidoriglove5761 I think they did a bit of bullshittery there, hina should have lost badly and die, luckily she only lost badly and somehow recover later. Hoshino never went unconcious after all the fight she had, then terror happens and after that she recovers without scratches and saves the day against set. There is literally no battle defence vs offence, there's only a god that is now unleashed. There is no competition here.
i dont know why people says how cool hina with machine gun can close pair with hoshino close range.. but i think its opposite hoshine struggle to be close range because shes tired after many battles too
@@LesEnfants1972 Goku trained to go super saiyan and Krillin's death pushed him to surpass his limits. Hoshino got a convenient Naruto shippuden last arc level BS powerup, because she was Le sad.
In this fight Hoshino focused more on the train lever than focusing on fighting Hina, Her stamina had also been drained from fighting the previous students
Okay brother both of them have circumstances. Hoshino fought the others before but she's definitely holding back since killing them is not her objective. Hina also deals with Gehenna students everyday. Both of them are tired due to their own circumstances so no excuses to make here. Both of them fought at their best in their base form and Hina wins though it was close. Hoshino focuses on the lever yes but Hina is the same since she can't let Hoshino do that. Agree that the train wasn't the ideal place for Hoshino to fight but no excuses on the battlefield. If you lose that means the enemy is just stronger
Idk where you get this hina tired when it's literally in the story only Hoshino is panting while going to her objective, and after first clash with hina she clearly tired by her dialog, what you need to do is read and not doing head canon lmao
@@cinnamonroll8095 Everyday is still 'everyday' for her Also I think it's not proper comparison anyway add that to the fact some outside meddling (ye, screw that guy in particular) Hoshino should able continue after that fall tbh
@@sieggrandark magic, firepower and wings? I must say baseline she is stronger than Hoshino as it is alright. You'll use everything you can anyway. I guess it balanced out with equipment. I'd say pretty even
As a convert to hina since the eden chapter, this is one hell of a fight and make me like hina more. A shame there's no fight scene between ojiisan alter and hina.
Same, I finally understand the greatness of Hina after the 3rd anni event, now I'm a believer in Hinaism. Too bad Hoshino Terror was too strong, Hina wouldn't be able to take her alone. But at least we got Hina + Abydos vs Hoshino Terror
@@Rockycrusher Can't really say tbh, we lack information. But black suit wanted to achieve terror since the beginning of the story, and he went to abydos for a reason. Mika is seen breaking in the 4th pv trailer but no signs of terror, i don't think she'd be capable to resist such pain. What i find incredible is Hoshino pulling out Terror within herself, without touching chroma, and i don't think there's a single student able to do that.
@danibuki727 Tbf, they changed how the chroma works in this chapter entirely. Kuroko apparently has slightly healed from it, so it might not be that lethal after all. Perhaps Mika is just psychologically untameable to anything that isn't sensei to the point that the Chroma is incapable of corrupting her.
@@Rockycrusher Chroma can corrupt everything, what i think is that a normal student would just die maybe. It's true that shiroko slightly healed but she's not coming back to her form. she's not healing from the chroma, but from her past. Black suit chose hoshino to achieve terror in chapter 1-2 probably for that reason. And beatrice iirc wanted to use atsuko to summon the chroma for herself, Atsuko should have died there. So yeah, until we don't get more info about it, the most reasonable thing to think is that a normal student would die. The chroma deforms your halo so if you can't resist it it probably shatters i think
It makes me sad none of the scenes are voiced. They go as far as making 3d fight sequences as well as full 2d animation, banging music, great sound design, yet they don't go the final mile and add voices to the scenes.
