That father just showed how much he loves his daughter. Shielding your kids from consequences because you in your words love them leads to situations like this
Thank God for this kind of FATHER'S love. It's either that or have irresponsible kids destroying the image n reputation of not just you but generations
I just love how that arrogant, entitled smirk abruptly disappeared from her face once reality reared its ugly head and she had to face consequences for her actions.
not always, sometimes the parents in high places remember that it is them in the high place, and not their kids. Mayor of Maplewood in my time at the PD there was one of them. His kids were rock solid.
If you don't recognize The Actor playing The Judge in this scene he was John Ritter's friend aka Jack Tripper Richard Kline aka Larry Dallas from Three's Company.
I think it’s not so much what she did, but, her whole snobbish attitude and real sense of entitlement, because of who her father is, and, not showing any kind of remorse or nothing is why the judge was just so really tough. I think the dad (who was like the current mayor or governor who could probably make sure there kid got off just like that if they really wanted to, didn’t actually)!
Actually, in this episode of Blue Bloods, the father was the former mayor of New York. In a previous scene, he was speaking with ADA Erin Reagan about how to discipline her teen daughter. Erin relayed a story, when she was a teen, where Erin's father (the PC) made Erin do "community service" when she crashed into a neighbor's yard with her car. This inspired the former mayor to respond the way he did in this scene.
Lol, they had a bar here in town called the Regal Beagle, right in the downtown area. It's closed now of course, but I always got a chuckle out of it. And just because it's a Three's Company reference, I much prefer Janet over Chrissy.
That was such a weak sentence she received if it was someone that wasn't related to a powerful person she would of gotten a bigger fine and a harsher sentence
