it's an amazing show from every aspect especially when it comes to analysis! DBs intricate knowledge of the game (Bluto aside) allows him to reach the layman with his analysis. Football is a complex game and DB has studied the game and provides a breath of fresh air when commenting.....albeit he is leaning towards praising the Blue Bombers and is always optimistic about the team.....he's an ardent BB salesman despite what he may say. He wears his heart on his sleeve but he backs up theories with keen observational analysis.....I almost prefer watching the reruns because you can compose your thoughts before commenting.....albeit I have to admit the live chats where it's at from an entertainment perspective.
The game itself was encouraging but being 0-3 isn't as much the game was encouraging itself being 0-3 sticks out a lot to me I think its a combination of 1. Lots of guys left this offseason 2. tons of new players 3. our vets. are just getting older 4. injury's it sucks to see this happen as a fan but i fully expected this to happen eventually if we keep loosing getting into the playoffs will start to become a question but that's long long long down the road
poor clock management was an issue when MOS first took over and I remember some of the games that were lost because it....not coming away with ANY points while inside the 10 is embarrassing at best....so what was that point spread again?
Your team will be fine. Lots of changes can take time. Up to the leaders in the locker room need to step up. You could see teams across the league get better this off-season and as Winnipeg had the same team the last few years and had plenty of new faces this year, other teams young guys got better and they all brought in some good young players. Any team wins 3 or 4 of 5 and you're back in the mix. I believe the parity is as strong as it has been in a while.
