This is a custom board room table that I built for Blue-Con Excavating in Calgary, Alberta. The purpose of this table this to demonstrate the pride and passion that the Blue-Con team has for the work that they do. I look forward to the conversations, brainstorming, and problem solving, that will happen around this table for many years to come.
This table is about 4.4m long and weights in at approximately 1,500 lbs!
My original video had much better music, including ‘Time Stand Still” by Rush (which I thought was very fitting for this project considering it’s a snapshot in time) but I didn’t want to get involved in any copyright disputes. So please enjoy this stock iMovie music instead - I’m a craftsman not a movie editing expert.
I have watched my fair share of videos that other have posted of their builds - whether it be scale railroad building or how to sand wood properly - so thought I would share the construction process of this table. Perhaps it will help someone else on a project they are working on.
Thanks for watching!!

That is truly a work of art….I have one question how many individuals are distracted during meetings because they are looking at the detail on this diorama?

Incredible! I own a Landscaping and Snow removal business in calgary, i'd love to know what something like this would cost to have done.

Did you flock all the graders too? What was your previous diorama addiction? Mine was Flames of War DDAY to Bastogne and the 6 Days War

It's probably 1/50. Bob is in the 950m and 390f, plus, I have seen no model of a 1/64 scale 390f. It has to be 1/50 scale.
