I’m so glad to see you catch the catfish Joyce. That is my favorite. I fish for catfish, blue gill, crappie and bass here in central Illinois. I’ve been fishin since I was about 7-8. My grandpa thought me well. I even have to clean them and bait my own hook. Like I said, grandpa taught me well. But love watching you two all the time😊.

Hi folks, glad to see another video pop up here. Watching Joyce bait the traps reminded me of a trick I'd like to share with you. Ever notice the fish smell on your hands and it doesn't wash off easily. Catsup! The acid in it completely kills fish odor. I keep the little packets from fast food joints in the boat, the car and the truck. Just rub some over your hands and fingers then rinse it off. You're welcome...😁
You are living the dream. Nice crabbing. When I was a kid in Florida, I would have a chicken wing or leg, or a mullet head, on a string, and a 8 foot pole net, and scoop as many as I could , even walking the seawalls and catching them on the wall with not bait.. Great memories, thank you both for sharing your adventures.

We were out the other day and lost 5 before we landed our first Shad lol. We ended up with 7. A few days before that we didn't lose a fish, they're fun to catch.
You guys inspire me so much, love it love it love it. l was planning to go crabbing here with drop nets but my outboard is at the mechanics, l'm so keen just have to wait. l bet when l start catching crabs, people will want to know where and how. Take care and tight lines 🎣 🐟 🇦🇺 🇺🇲
Yes living the dream . We do alot of trout and bass fishin here in PA, but catfish are our favorite to fish for and eat . Lots of ponds and creeks around and we make at least 1 trip a year to the susquehanna River for some night fishing
i love catfish from the mississippi the very best.. speaking of fish, i fell in love with walleye, just last week, it was soooo good. i didnt catch it, i got it at our local wegmans store here in va.. then i looked it up on google and its about the highest in mercury levels. sigh… i was going to go back and load up on more, after trying it but decided not to after all i read about it. later, when i got online to chat with them, they said it was from the canadian side of lake erie and i read that is some of the highest of the high, in mercury. luckily, catfish is on the lowest mercury scale. so, thats good at least.

Those crabs were Giants, I watch another RU-vidr from Florida they posted a video showing them catching shrimp, they said shrimps are running do you guys do any shrimping? Well take care and see u in the next video
They crawl and swim along the bottom , the rusty colored crabs didn't shed their shell for a while and they're usually full of meat. Thanks for Watching
