On the way in, the pic of you and Joyce standing close together and you said "my girlfriend", the smiles on your faces was beautiful. Bless you both and many, many crabbing trips in the future.
Yum I can’t wait to move back east, once my wife retires next year. I miss blue claw season, used to go hand lining with chicken necks in Toms River N.J. every year and catch a couple of garbage cans full, then have a blue claw party the same evening good times. 😁
Hand lining is probably the most fun catching them. We're from N.J. the Atlantic City area, we used to catch a lot of blue crabs but I'm sure by now they must have changed the limit like they did with all the fish. Thanks a lot for Watching
See you such a beautiful couple together with the picture you showed with the two of you at the steering wheel makes my heart feel good beautiful picture for a beautiful couple
I was recently complaining about the small size of crabs available at the fish markets. I guess I need to get off my but and go catch some. Great video guys!
Wow! You got the life all these crabs I'd be in seventh heaven. If you ever need someone to help pick that meat I'll come down from Pa to help you. Keep crabbing and I wish you all the best.
They looked very yummy just like every video you make crab is one of my favorite food keep up the great videos I'll be looking forward to seeing more from you guys
Joyce is a pro, would love to go crabbing with you guys. I miss eating crabs living in the midwest. Go home during the summer to east coast and enjoy them.
Blue crabs look great as usual folks. I just don’t understand how you can just eat three each. When I get a chance to eat them on the east coast I can’t stop till 20. Ours must be a lot smaller though😅
Always enjoy your catch and cook videos. We’re from Memphis and moved to FL. Never had crab but got everything together for a catch and cook using hand lines. Wish us luck!
David, Thanks for Watching our videos and good luck with your crabbing. Just keep trying different areas until you find them there's plenty of crabs out there.
Hello Guys. Another nice batch of crabs. I've cooked them before in spaghetti sauce. Might want to try some shrimp or clams along with it. Some of those huge ones would compliment that dish. Sam still waiting for that video for (how you throw your cast net) lol. I've tried several different methods but still haven't got the one that's works best for me. Tight lines.......
Nice hearing from you Ed, those were nice meaty crabs I guess we caught them at the right time. I've been meaning to make the cast net video. They are good with spaghetti sauce, we have a video on that. Good luck with your fishing Ed.
I love a good ol' boiled Crab 🦀 you can't beat the flavor all that old bay season sets in the Crab meat and that Lump white Crab meet stay so juice . And sucking the Crab Claw 🦀 before you Crack it open makes it so good. It's the best way to cook blue crabs. Love this video
You got me laughing, okay set right here. OK set second right here, OK set 3rd right here. Do you not think your partner could understand a more simple command, like OK hun set. And of course the same for the rest. 🤣😂 And we can count so really don't need to be told. 👌💯
Used to fish and crab the St. John’s with my grandmother out of Dunn’s creek near Palatka. Love the St. John’s. I live in saint Marys. Georgia. Fairly good crabbing around here.
Sam and Joyce y’all are just the most precious lil couple! I soo enjoy watching yall. Nice mess of crabs. My husband used to tell people I was his girlfriend lol brought by sweet memories I miss him. 😘
My daughter lives on the St. John's river in Sanford. What you should make with that crabmeat is a dish called Coquille Saint Jacque it's a french dish. My mother in law is from France an taught me this recipe. You can uses any kind of seafood. I've used it all in this recipe. It's very delicious
We're going camping at Ft. Clinch soon. Gonna try chicken on a string. Been going there since it was a county park and never crabbed, all we did was just feed the crabs when we were trying to fish. Maybe I'll get some revenge and eat some of them this time. Keep on with the videos. Love them.
That's the best way to catch them, at our best spot they won't go into our metal ring traps the only way we can catch them is with a handline. Good luck
Next time you cook try this. put the salt garlic and old bay in before you put the crabs in. And bring it up to a boil. The crab meat will take up more of that flavor. Just a thought you do you. You can also put some onion and lime / limon in too.
James, I think it finally started to go down and there's no rain forecast for the next 10 days, but it will take at least a year before it goes down to normal. Thanks
Bless your heart Sam you're a good boyfriend, for getting her a new pot I could tell she loves it... Invite me for dinner I know what to do with the extra crabs,,. Y'all take care of yourselves God bless you! ❤️
Rob, when you're married for over 55 years that's the type of thing you buy each other lol. Come over any time there's always extra crabs. Thanks again for Watching
Sam I grew in Florida on the Manatee River. We ate blue crabs all the time. I never knew about dirty crabs. I know it's the rusty color but why. Are the ones with white ,not rusty closer to just shedding?
We do catch some big blue crabs in Florida if you're in the right spot, we also have some spots in Mississippi where we catch some good size crabs. Thanks a lot for Watching
Oooh, I bet Spanish rice would taste good with the salsa crabs. I'll bet that they were delicious! I envy all that crab meat :) I really love crab cakes and stuffed crabs in their shells.
I've known some people who don't want to stink their house up cooking crabs, my mother was one of them lol. Joyce and I both like the smell. Always nice hearing from you Michael.
Because she wants to and she doesn't consider it work. I could easily do it all (I was a commercial fisherman years ago). Joyce doesn't know how to operate or trailer a boat she would have nothing to do out on the water except watch me and to her that would not be any fun. I take care of anything that has to do with our 2 boats operating, repairs cleaning etc. Also do the hours of editing and answering all the comments. It doesn't take long to set and pull 7 crab traps. I just want to keep her happy, it's worked for 56 years.
Why don’t carry a laundry basket and dump the cribs into the basket rather than on Joyce’s feet she never wears good covering so she doesn’t get bit love your channel love you both
We release the small ones and any with eggs. There are spots where ,90 percent of the crabs you catch are females and it's full of commercial crabbers traps so we keep the few we catch, it's legal in Florida to keep females. We catch mostly males because we crab a lot in the St Johns River and most of the crabs there are males.
Curtis, we also steam them, clean them and also cook them whole we like them any way even without seasoning. When we were in Oregon we caught Dungeness Crabs and cooked them in water right out of the ocean, they were great. Thanks again for Watching we really appreciate it
Putting all that JO on the top shell of a crab while steaming seems wrong, what a waste. Boiling a cleaned crab is the way, you get all that seasoning up in the crab.
Joyce and I don't like a lot of seasoning on anything including steak or any other meat, I just like to taste the meat not the seasoning. When we eat in a restaurant it's always, no seasoning please. It's just the way we like it, that's why we use just a little. Thanks again for Watching we really appreciate it
