Bruh the low brass in blue devils is insane there really talented I am stunned I'm a. 7th grade trombone player hoping I could be in blue devils band one day (stupide question is blue devils a collage band?
Bazinga Bot you will have to move up from small drum cores to get in to world class drum cores like cavaliers, santaclara, crossmen, Maddison scouts, Carolina crown, blue knights and blue coats those are the ones that come to my mind right now
hey mate im in 8th and since i joined my high school marching band and found out about dci i always wanted to join bd and if u keep playing your instrument and stay dedicated to it u will of course be more than great enough for bd trombone forevea
jayjay1234540 wait where. I’m to lazy to go back to the snare cam and find it Also I’m pretty sure he said “rimshot god” since they do a shot right after
They are smart about their body movement...well choreographed for people that do not have extensive dance experience- and each section of the corps is exceptiona,
Is it really hard to get into the blue devils for low brass? I just turned 16 and an thinking of trying out next year or in two years. I play in a really good jazz band, but have never been in a drum corps or marching band. I can pick up motions very quickly because I did dance but I don't have any prior experience with marching.
Exploding Paint don’t start with BD. Start with an open class corps, or lower world class like Genesis. In auditions, as long as you show the them you are willing to learn, they’ll accept you.
WaVy Eclipzee hey thanks for the advice. My marching band recently had a summer week get together where I really picked up a lot of good experience with the instrument and yea... you’re right. You definitely need a lot more air and a lot more strength because of the back pressure of the instrument and it’s sheer weight.
For high school marching bands its usually to make sure you step on ur left foot on time. I think DCI does something different than high school marching bands.
